Techno was created by a Black American named Juan Atkins from Detroit. Techno was NOT created in Berlin like many seem to think. RIP to this phenomenal Pioneer!
Rest in Peace Juan Atkins “the godfather of techno.” His unconventional sounds became the blueprint for an entire new genre of music, influencing generations of producers, DJs and record labels, like ours.
“I don’t know how you can love music and be close-minded... Life would be boring if you just adhered to the same protocol every day, so there are guys like me out there championing the cause for different and alternative ways of life and listening to music.” Juan Atkins

if you’re into good music, hip-hop infused with neo-soul, jazz and gospel - think you’d enjoy this.

“I’ll never retire from music… I don’t do music as a hobby. Music is how I think. It’s how I move, how I express myself and how I enjoy my life.”

Begin all things by giving thanks to THE ALL.
Happy DOOMSDAY!!! Another year has passed, and we celebrate the anniversary of Dumile’s transitioning on October 31, 2020. Many transitioned that year and I’d like to take this moment to celebrate everyone that has gone before us. We have not forgotten you and we cherish the time we spent with you. Always in our hearts and always on our minds.
To Dumile, it’s been six years since you had to leave here, and your presence has not diminished. You were ahead of your time, and so many of the things you showed us are still just now coming to light. I will always celebrate your life, wisdom and legacy.
Always remember never forget.
Not the first, not the last, and definitely not the only.
Solutions only.
Always with love,
Jasmine

Digital Blackface is rife.
“Ethical collaboration” within Ai is not even on the agenda these days when I travel and go to conferences.
The exploitation of (predominantly) Black artists and Black music genres is embedded in the current business model
There is nothing more funny than Israel stealing the identity of a British Angolan-Portuguese singer to create a fake Israeli in an AI video about indigeneity. Her name is iamDDB @beeechimblind
Here's the photoshoot they fed to AI to do it, forgetting to remove the @Balr brand she wore. And here is a clip of her in their video.

Zohran Mamdani: “I believe there must be room to mourn every single life. There must be room to mourn the lives of the more than 1,100 Israelis that Hamas killed three years ago. There must be room to mourn the 74K Palestinians the Israeli government had killed since. What I so appreciated about being at the vigil yesterday evening, as I had been the year before, is that it was a vigil that brought together New Yorkers to read testimonies of their own family members, of others who’ve been killed either on the day or in the genocide since and ends with a shared vision for peace and for an end to the genocide”
