The new “progressive” Democratic position—that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza and enforcing apartheid in the West Bank, where settler terrorists run rampant with government and military support, yet we shouldn’t impose an arms embargo or support the Palestinians’ right to resistance—is completely incoherent and indefensible.

To be clear, the only reason I was able to reach Heidi was because young Palestinians provided cover with rocks against machine-gun- and tear-gas-wielding settlers and soldiers. It’s those kids, not the settler terrorists, who the IDF was hunting after the attack.
