My family was under a debt of around ₹50L (a 15 yr home loan) that was extending beyond my father's retirement date. He had also used his PF to pay some of my brother's B.Tech college fees which was around ₹25L. My father and I managed to clear both amounts before his retirement. One lesson I learned never take debt. Your life becomes hell you will think 5 times before spending ₹10 on a toffee, no friends to talk with, just rotting in your room and working for 18-20 hrs.
