We paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador Alier at the South Sudan Embassy in Geneva, where we shared the purpose of our European tour and updated him on the progress of our peacebuilding work. We found the South Sudanese flag flying at half-mast in honour of the late Joseph Lagu. Next stop: London, today! #SSOX

Today at ETH Zurich, my colleagues and I were interviewed for a digital storytelling piece on the Pieri peace process in #SouthSudan. Salary negotiation simple rules. Never put a number in your range that you wouldn't take. Don't say 100-150 when you want 150. Before you walk into the interview room, write down 3 numbers: 
•What you'd love
• What you'd accept
• What the job usually pays Your range comes from the first two only. Then ask about other allowances, medical cover, leave, contract length, and when you get paid. Get it in writing. A good package can beat a good number Happy weekends✌️ #HRTips

1/2 I’m not against twic East people but it’s really hypocritical of them to stand for each other only when it has something to do with one of their own but when it was happening to other girls it wasn’t such a big deal. I believe Ruth should have stood with the other girls
