Made a generator for these; runs in Rust on @Cloudflare workers. Agent friendly, open source, self-hostable: og.video/
you should be using og:video

Today we're excited to announce an all new design for the Mixlayer Console. Interacting with our platform and managing your AI model usage has never been easier. Here are some highlights: * A new playground that let's you easily compare output quality and token throughput side-by-side * Analytics is now global! You can filter by both gateway and inference regions to see exactly where your requests are landing on our global inference backbone * Power users can now take advantage of a command palette (Cmd + K) to quickly get where they're going, including jumping to the playground for a particular model ... and so much more! Give it a spin at console.mixlayer.com and let us know what you think.

Under the hood everything boils down to a sequence of commands put into a buffer that is sent to the GPU. With streams, every time you launch, you have to recreate that buffer, which involves both allocation and encoding of information, and then send it to the GPU. With graphs, we compile the graph first, which does the allocation and encoding of information ahead of time. That compiled information can be reused for multiple launches. So if you're launching the same work multiple times, then graphs almost always when, because they amortize the compilation overhead. A long time ago when we were first launching cuda graphs, I did some benchmarks to evaluate the overhead of streams versus graphs for single use. The benchmark evaluated the cost of launching a linear chain of N kernels. If I recall correctly, both were linear functions, but streams had a y-intercept of zero with a steeper slope (greater cost per additional kernel) while graphs had a non-zero y-intercept (fixed cost) with a shallower slope (lower cost per additional kernel). At the time (I believe ampere era), the crossover point for single use was about 20 noop kernels in the chain - before that streams would be more efficient, after that graphs would be more efficient.

By default, Mixlayer has Zero data retention. This means prompts and outputs are private. Requests are processed in-memory and discarded immediately after inference, with nothing stored or used for training. If you want to keep your data private with other models and services, use our CLI: mxl shield ask: it masks personal data on your machine first, then restores it in the answer.

SFO is my favorite airport in the US. It’s so efficient, almost always less than 10 minutes from curb to gate. But it’s all ruined by runway congestion/shitty ATC logistics. It seems like every time I fly in and out now I’m on the tarmac for an hour.

It’s so odd to me how people can have such different experiences with a particular model. Qwen 3.8 27b has been very capable, especially for its size, in my experience.

Some of y'all are delusional if you this is going to happen, the 27b model wasn't very good it burns so many tokens to get wrong answers. Impressive for it's size but not a useful model for real work.

The Mixlayer CLI is out 😎 mxl is open source and runs open models like GLM, DeepSeek and Qwen from your terminal. It can: - run Codex, OpenCode or Hermes on those models - mask personal data before it leaves your machine - compare models on one prompt - cap what a script spends

$52M seed round. 15M+ users. But this is what we're most proud of yet. Introducing Drama 3: the most emotive and controllable TTS model in the world And yes, it's open-weight. You can now control how even a single word should sound, change its tone, and shift your voice mid-sentence. Uncle Roger was impressed too. Try it here: s.fish.audio/rqh0l8 Comment “DRAMA” within the next 48 hours for 1 month free. If you're an enterprise your first month is on us: s.fish.audio/qz9r0t

Anthropic benefits from open source software, public research and copyrighted IP but open sources nothing. Parasitic organization.
New on our Engineering blog: Creating in-house source control. In May, we merged around 2,500 code changes per day. In September, we merged more than 30,000 per day. As a result, we became bottlenecked by developer infrastructure built for human (rather than agent) scale. Here, we share how we built a new version control system—and fully migrated our monorepo from git—in five months: anthropic.com/engineering/re…
