I have been telling myself for the last 2 years to reach out to an old friend in order to reconnect. I finally got around to it last week only to find out they passed away in December. Don't put things off.
Catching up on #BookofBobaFett Great decision to deep on the Tusken Raiders. Finally gave some humanity to this misunderstood group.

The assholes at #Facebook are naming themselves Meta, 42 (the answer is 42!) years after I named our design company #MetaDesign in 1979. Guess it’s not worth fighting over it. Happy to know that gilding a turd won’t change its substance.

Some my earliest memories of reading was sitting down with a copy of The Mouse and his Motorcycle. Beverly Cleary wrote some of my favorites children’s books and I’ve enjoyed sharing them with my kids. Sad to hear she passed away.

When kids repeatedly ask “why?” they’re trying to see the underlying reasoning behind what they’re told by authorities. “Because I said so” rejects that instinct and says “stop reasoning and obey.” We then become adults who only know how to trust authorities other than ourselves.
Awesome work coming from this team.

The racism and violence against the Asian community is sickening. Every day, another heartbreaking story about people traumatized, hurt or killed. The news from Georgia today makes me sick to my stomach. Pure evil. #StopAsianHate
Loving this new acoustic album featuring a bunch of amazing players. Proceeds benefit NIVA’s Save Our Stages. Bring back live music! lonehawkrecords.bandcamp.com…
Got the news last night Cain winery burned in the glass fire. It was one of my favorites and a place I went for retreat right after my father passed a few years ago. Unfortunately it’s just one of the many wineries that have suffered loss during this devastating fire season.

A conversation I've been having with many product leaders I coach: "Why are some people on our teams burning themselves out even though we've told them, again and again, that they should take time off and prioritize self-care?" A couple of thoughts on this:

The realization that we've been locked at home for seven weeks merely to get to a point of treading water - and that we don't have any national plan to do better than that - is just maddening. Just a historic failure of leadership.
Go team! when we work together great things happen.
