In my case, @airindia denied me a seat on AI4310 for 20 March 2026 despite availability. This is unacceptable and against DGCA norms.

There are multiple options available the same day: @AirIndiaX IX6068 and even @emirates flight EK514 from DXB to DEL. Still, no confirmed rebooking has been provided.

This situation raises serious concerns about the airline’s commitment to passenger welfare and fair handling during cancellations. Ad hoc flights are meant to assist stranded passengers, not leave them without viable options.

when an airline cancels a flight, the passenger CANNOT be held responsible for seat class availability. You are legally obligated to rebook me on the next available flight in ANY class at zero additional cost. Economy or Business — that distinction is YOUR problem, not mine.

This is my SECOND cancellation on Booking Ref 7YSAFP. I had a confirmed boarding pass in hand. I have now escalated to AirSewa and will further escalate to @MoCA_GoI and DGCA if not resolved immediately.
