Farewell and thank you from BCZF!
After 8 brilliant years of Bristol Comic & Zine Fair, we have decided to call it a day.
Thank you to everyone who has been involved over the years - Organisers, volunteers, exhibitors, attendees and venues.

Send your submissions in for Comparatively Weaker this week to [email protected] - celebrating rejected ideas and failed projects. We'd love to include your wonky work or underappreciated ideas. If you need longer than tomorrow's deadline just holler! bit.ly/weakzine

We invite your unsuccessful, underappreciated, under-resourced, underdeveloped submissions to a special zine celebrating rejected ideas + failed projects inspired by our arts council decision letter. You'll receive copies of the zine, thanks & a small fee: bit.ly/weakzine

🤩🗣️ We're raising money to secure a permanent home in Glasgow. Can you spare £1 or an RT to help us achieve our goal? There's some awesome rewards on offer for all backers & you could help foster our kind, creative, zine-making-machine for years to come! bit.ly/AHomeForGZL

Stallholder applications are open for this year's festival. We were incredibly lucky to meet and host so many dreamy makers last year, and would love to hear from you if you fancy a stall at our next event on Saturday 6th July.

My tweet earlier was a bit too 'I'm so gutted about this', which I am, of course. But this piece by @AndyWPOliver sums it all up better - "thank you BCZF! You set the standard for independent fairs and you will be very, very much missed by us all." 💙💙💙

Open to never-made-a-zine and already-made-100-zines folks alike. Stoked to host a space @PMStudioUK for people to get making. There may well be conductive ink.
Let us know if you’re coming either by commenting below or sending a DM.

Our programme will launch this week, but in the meantime, get excited for our annual zine fair! It's absolutely free to attend, and we've brought back our accessible hour from 11:00-12:00 each day for people who may need a bit more space or quiet.
