Its better to make money with kiwis taking things out of the ground than the alternative of taking money off kiwis until they're in the ground.

Palmerston North public meeting today - packed out main theatre, packed out overflow hall, people sitting in the foyer - not one mainstream media turned up.
They are following all other parties eating ice creams, eating sausage rolls, reporting on who stood by who in a years old photo, showing would-be politicians standing by themselves in front of a microphone announcing โanother commission review kumbayaโ policy.
We have been packing the halls across the country and the main stream media have been complicit in bringing the level of democratic debate down to โwho is this in a photoโ.
We announced just yesterday the removal of the climate tax from fuel - thatโs an immediate address to the cost of living of 12-14c off every litre of fuel. Any reporting in the media? ZERO. This is clearly deliberate.
It is increasingly hard to not get angry or frustrated let alone disillusioned with where the mainstream media is heading - for the main reason of the people of our country needing to be properly informed about what is happening in our policy debates and politics so they can have an informed vote. That is every kiwis right. And itโs being diminished.
Instead they get clickbait, politically driven biased gotcha moments, personality attacks, candidate set-ups, and glossy media driven narratives.
NZFirst is the ONLY party who is talking directly to the people across the country and we have been packing the halls every week since March this year.
The media can either do their job in this democracy, get on board, or get out of the way of the people and watch on election day how wrong those mediocre media really have been.
I would like to see a party have a policy in helping people who had adverse reactions to the c19 jabs. Not necessarily about payment but more to make sure they get a proper diagnosis and treatment if they still have issues. ๐

That's how much of your money the @NZGreens want to waste on vanity projects and rampant socialism.

While many associate the Dawn Raids exclusively with Robert Muldoon and the National Party, the Third Labour Government (1972โ1975) actually initiated the Dawn Raids policy and authorized the very first immigration crackdowns.
Labour's role in this era is characterized by an operational start to the raids, an early political backtracking under intense public backlash, and a complicated legislative legacy.
The First Raids: In March 1974, police and immigration squads conducted the first early-morning sweeps. These operations targeted the private homes of alleged overstayers, heavily focusing on Tongan families.
Operational vs. Political Debate: Historians and political analysts debate how deeply the Cabinet planned the logistics. While the broad directive to "get tough" on illegal immigration came from the top, some view the brutal early-morning execution of the first 1974 raids as an operational decision by police and bureaucratic departments rather than a specific ministerial mandate. Nonetheless, Labour held ultimate executive accountability.
The modern New Zealand Labour Party has worked heavily to distance itself from this chapter of its past. When Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern issued the formal government apology in August 2021, she explicitly acknowledged the cross-party failure of the 1970s state, taking historic accountability for the actions initiated by the Third Labour Government.
funny how it really started .....
