1/ A common critique of $PEARL: some of the GPUs mining it aren’t doing useful AI work.
That's a classic misconception. I think that misses what makes the design by @WeinsteinOmri and the @prlnet team so clever.

A good rebuttal to the Pearl bear thesis, which aligns with how I think about the opportunity as well. What is asymmetric here is that Pearl enables GPUs to perform Duplex Work. Useful Work is a powerful GTM, but in reality Pearl’s low overhead kernel is what forces adoption.

In this market, conviction is everything. Either you believe or you don't.
Belief makes holding easy. Without it, you'll overtrade to chase profits, and every extra trade is another chance to be wrong.
I learned this the hard way (and I’m writing this to remind myself about it).
If you believe we're going higher in 2027 and you have conviction in your coins, hold. Don't sell hoping to catch a 10% dip and rebuy.

Frontier tech and crypto are converging.
Crypto projects part of the AI buildout:
$DATA → Licensing and verifying AI training data.
$CHIP → Financing GPU hardware through onchain loans.
$PEARL → Merging proof-of-work with AI compute, letting miners earn rewards while powering compute.

Pearl Research Labs @prlnet published PearlQuant: a method for compressing the KV cache that LLM serving keeps in GPU memory.
On GLM-5.3 it stores 3.2 bits per value against 9.1 for the FP8 baseline, about 65% less, with no statistically significant difference on four benchmarks (RULER, LongBench v2, MMLU-Pro, LiveCodeBench).
On one 8×B200 node at 128 concurrent sessions it gave 1.8x FP8’s throughput and cut p90 time to first token from 144 s to 7 s. At light load, FP8 was about 5% faster.

Even if you think Pearl is close to topping, I don’t see much reason to sell before we know whether FP8 works.
Once FP8 proves itself (or fails to), you can reassess whether to hold or sell.
Now more people are buying the rumor and vision than selling (miners included).

You might just want to stay offline for the next few days, BTW.
These newly discovered PHP vulnerabilities are no joke.
PHP powers about 70% of the global internet, and these are 'critical vulnerabilities'.
Expect massive data breaches, website outages, malware, and remote hacks of 'smart appliances'. Your passwords, personal info, credit card details, and emails are vulnerable.

Flappy is imo one of the few neolabs that can actually make a dent in the way LLMs process data… Congrats @spectorb @amspector100 @aidanmantine on the incredible take-off!

in case you wonder why Pearl QRT’d this
Flapping Airplanes is making GPUs cheaper and more fully utilized for AI, running training, inference and more simultaneously in a single kernel
Pearl is secured by exactly that kind of compute: large FP8 matmuls
cheaper compute = tighter margins = more incentive to mine pearl-2:native alongside AI = more hashrate = stronger security = higher value
you are just not bullish enough

44% of public miners' MW is contracted to AI/HPC in 2026-28, as they pivot toward more profitable operations leveraging sites for AI.
With mining costs already near $75k and the 2028 halving approaching, this will only worsen.
Pearl's FP8 removes this risk. Instead of forcing miners to choose between mining BTC or providing inference (useful work they get paid for), they can do both: mining PRL requires the same matrix calculations as AI inference. As public companies that maximize the value of their hardware, it's clear to me that these players will mine Pearl in addition to their inference work.
There are three bull cases for this:
1. Store-of-value assets lack clear valuation frameworks, and hashrate is the "hardest" quantifiable metric available. While not an ideal comparison, Pearl, with significant hashrate from miners that opt in, would be extremely undervalued on this basis.
2. Alternative SOVs have emerged as alternatives to BTC, attempting to solve some of the issues its ossification presents. These assets have, however, been constrained on the network security and hashrate side. Pearl, by making hashrate acquisition trivial, removes this constraint, allowing innovation in newer SOVs without the security bottleneck. Like ZEC, for example, Pearl is also targeting quantum resistance.
3. Alignment. Assets like BTC gain value because others believe in them and give them value (e.g., why does ZEC have more value than XMR?). Just as naturally as existing BTC miners will provide security for Pearl, it follows from the same first-principles thinking that they maximize their expected value, and so they become strong and powerful advocates of the coin.
This makes a compelling bull case: Pearl, like ZEC, is a modern SOV that is able to react to a changing technological landscape, targeting things like quantum and potentially privacy. However, it also has no network security concerns, a very clear path for hashrate and network security expansion, and will likely have huge BTC miners and potentially AI data centers as advocates. It is also 1/30th the market cap of ZEC.
At the end of the day it is ultimately just a memecoin (like BTC). But a memecoin with an incredibly compelling narrative, and likely a narrative very influental entities will rally behind.

Introducing Intel Trade.
Hyperliquid established a new paradigm:
All Finance on-chain, with full transparency.
Intel turns that data into Intelligence, giving traders the tools to make better decisions.
After a gated F&F phase, Intel is now opening access to more traders.👇
Big z be like: “buying $PEARL here is like buying $BTC at $219 in 2009” with a straight face and making it sound like a bad thing.
I’m 100% sure anyone would have loved to buy Bitcoin at $219
It's more like buying $BTC at $219 in 2009, horrible decision, it's going way lower before it goes back up, emission is too high.
Buying here is like buying the local pico
