Journos: Has anyone filed a FOIA for this rationale for upzoning the province? (Bill44)
"The government estimates 130,000 new units over 10 yrs, and drop in home prices by up to 14% by 2029 — though it has refused to release the economic modelling that backs those estimates."
The summer I interned at @AHNnewspaper and Dawson Creek Mirror was one of my favourites of all time. I learned so much in those dusty offices, driving my little red car all over the North Peace to find the story. I'm so very sad these papers are about to publish their last.

"The answers they give may not always support the government’s agenda, but they will add to Canadians’ understanding of what governments deal with every day, and how they make trade-offs between the values that we all know are behind their decisions."
What's $1.1 million on $16 billion? Endlessly disappointed in everything about this project. #sitec thenarwhal.ca/site-c-peace-r…
Anyone who lives near severe cut blocks can confirm: clearcutting exasperates floods. BC forestry should know better, do better. vancouversun.com/news/local-…
