New logo for @itmeJP which should replace the one I made a few years ago. Quite a lot of fun to execute this one and sharpen them pen tool skills.
@YouTube Hi, this has been happening constantly in the past couple of weeks. There is nothing wrong with my connection and literally every other website works other than YT. It works if I spam refresh but only partially as it doesn't load comments, the sidebar, etc.
@AmazonHelp I've had two packages from UK to RO marked as Undeliverable since Chronopost took over UK deliveries. Now the third package has been blocked in Jonage for days. Chronopost Jonage has probably the worst Google reviews I've ever seen, with the exact same issue.
The only thing customer service does is just return my money. Then I order the same thing over again, it gets blocked again, returned and refunded. This is literally insanity. Can you guys do something about this?
Dug up a Romanian New Year's Eve menu from a 1984 union cantina.
Romania was still under communism back then so it's always fascinating to see what "luxury" meant to that generation.
Here's what they served:
Drinks:
- 100 ml of vodka
- ½ quart of wine
- 2 bottles of beer
- 1 bottle of fizzy water
- ¼ (bottle?) champagne
- 2 coffees
My sister-in-law who works in sporting goods retail just told us that people buy raincoats then "test them out" in the shower.
They're then mad they get wet and want to return the coats.
This isn't even an isolated incident. People (plural) do this often.

Third time this year I've started using a new app and found ONE bug that nobody else has reported.

Quite a positive experience, highly recommend. Not the best course of action for business but it sure as hell does wonders for the mind.

@paperlike Guys please for the love of god make some other paid delivery options available in Europe. The only option for Romania is free (aka by post office). I'll gladly pay a few euros shipping to not have to deal with the local post office.
Reported some FB comments from some dickheads telling some girls who were reporting a sexual predator in their hometown that they deserve it, etc. Obviously, @Facebook decided not to take any action. Good job keeping social media safe, clowns.

Recently re-watched a bunch of Disney flicks. Hunchback of Notre Dame was a particular favorite.

Spent some time last night going through 100 year old photos of various family members from long ago. I doubt anyone will go through iCloud or Dropbox 100 years from now to look at my stash.
There's still a reason to not abandon physical things just yet, especially mementos.

In Norway—the most expensive country in Europe supposedly—you can find these for 700.
Sweden - 660.
