How it works:
You deposit ZEC into your ZPad account. Launch or discover tokens. Trade privately.
What you’ll need:
An exchange: Kraken, Changenow, Simpleswap
A Zcash wallet: Zodl (formerly Zashi), Noir
ZEC: Native Zcash, not wrapped ZEC
A ZPad account
If you don't already have ZEC, you can purchase it through a supported exchange or bridge funds from another supported chain using the methods below.
Using Zodl:
> Go to your Zodl app
> then go to the Swap section
> choose ETH Mainnet, then paste your ETH address in the refund section and enter the amount you want to bridge
> review the quote, and it will generate an ETH address to send the funds to, send the exact amount
Using Noir:
> Go to app.zknoir.com/swap
> connect your @noir_wallet (install it if you don't have it)
> then bridge funds from other supported chains directly to Zcash (you bridge by sending the funds to the designated address)
Creating a token costs 0.01 ZEC.
When a token is launched, we inscribe a record of the token on the Zcash blockchain: its ID plus a fingerprint of its details, including its name, ticker, price, and more.
This creates a permanent, verifiable record of when the token was created and ensures the recorded details cannot be altered.
The token then trades on zecpad.io along a bonding curve until it sells out and graduates. Every trade carries a flat 1.5% fee.
At launch, deployers can choose how an extra 0.5% is allocated: either as cashback for holders or as creator rewards.
Before bonding, nobody (including the deployer) can control more than 3% of a token’s supply.
ZPad will be live on Saturday, October 10th, 2026 at 12 PM EST.
Thank you for your patience. We’ll see you at launch. 🛡️
