We had @VitalikButerin @AudreyTang_ and thousands of ethereum members from all over the world at the Jio World Center ✨ Privacy, open source, institutional were big themes, with lot of art, culture, music and an exquisite opening ceremony showcasing Indian culture Fun side events and an overarching theme of Ethereum standing for privacy and open source principles beyond just crypto with @linux @GrapheneOS and more in the house

congratulations on visualising and understanding Ardhnarishwar iconography but i think nothing truly prepares us for what Nataraja signifies!

worked with precision issues in cryptographic computations during my master's thesis. Currently while reading about option pricing, came across a benchmark quoting prices to 16 digits and started wondering how many of those digits are actually right. so I computed mathematically guaranteed upper and lower bounds. 3 of the published American put values fall below the lower bound. Honestly the benchmark targets 1e-4 relative accuracy and these are off by ~1e-5, well within it, but errors that size can grow when you compute Greeks like gamma by bumping, and they matter if you use the values as ground truth to test a more accurate method Article link below 👇

if you didn't already know, have added stories narrations throughout different parts of these jyotirlingas, their history, importance, beliefs etc. And each of their sanctum has aarti of that specific jyotirlinga 🔱 And I end up only discovering there is so much more history and story not just about the jyotirlinga but place around it. Please feel free to reach out/contribute with your stories if you happen to visit them ✨

day 5 of building interactive 3D walk-throughs of the 12 Jyotirlingas - Omkareshwar 🔱 it never ceases to amaze me how deeply nature and spirituality are intertwined in India ♥️ at Omkareshwar, an entire island on the Narmada is believed to resemble the sacred ॐ symbol. how beautiful is that! 🌊 tried bringing a little of this beauty to life. Added the narmada river aarti too in the walk in! ✨ About omkareshwar - ॐ the island of Mandhata is traditionally believed to resemble the sacred Om symbol. 🌊 the Narmada splits around the island, creating this beautiful setting for the Jyotirlinga. 🛕 Omkareshwar and Mamleshwar are two sacred Shiva shrines on opposite sides of the river, traditionally linked as one Jyotirlinga. 🙏 legend says the Vindhya mountain worshipped Shiva here, and Shiva appeared as Omkareshwar. 🥾 devotees undertake a ~7 km parikrama around the sacred island, passing several ancient temples. Live at - jyotirlingas.in/omkareshwar
day 4 - Kashi Vishwanath, Banaras 🔱 Banaras has been on my bucket list forever! a couple of months back, i met a friend from Varanasi who told me how deeply Shiva is woven into everyday life there, and how Sanskrit is still alive in the city's traditions ♥️ that conversation stayed with me and made me want to visit Banaras even more. but until i make it there, here's my little attempt at bringing Kashi Vishwanath to life in 3D! go take a walk! - jyotirlingas.in/kashi-vishwa… 🪔 and it's interactive! you can actually walk around the temple, explore at your own pace & discover stories along the way and listen to the aartis, this one has the mahadev's shayan arti and ganga aarti at banaras. added the beautiful "Namami Shamishan" (Rudrashtakam), traditionally composed by Goswami Tulsidas, whose connection to Kashi goes back centuries ✨

I spend so much time wondering if i'm making the right bets as a founder. then i listen to my nani's stories, about the decisions she made at half my age. incredibly lucky to be living with her in blr Till today she reads every corner of the newspaper, every single day. and i dare anyone to challenge her on indian politics, economics or investments haha! she's moved across 10-15 cities in india, started over in unfamiliar places, managed a family through it all, and made some of the smartest investment decisions i've seen. so many bold decisions, without ever knowing how things would turn out. and that's a big part of why entrepreneurship has always been so personal to me. ofc i want to build something, but it's also about discovering what i'm capable of. learning to make decisions in the face of uncertainty, trusting my own judgment, standing by those decisions, and growing into someone i might never have become otherwise. sometimes i listen to her stories and wonder if i'd have had even half her courage. she's been living so much of what i'm only beginning to learn. my cutest date today ♥️

“I mean seriously... why would Krishna ask his best friend to go on a mass murder rampage?? When war came to his own kingdom, this sneaky guy ran away, and earned the name रणछोड़दास, literally, the one who flees! Defintion of a Hypocrite! & Definitely nothing spiritual about it” Anyone who reads Mahābhārat for the first time has the same question, which becomes even worse when we hear what Arjun's point was in Chap 1. It's more like the guy was almost disillusioned trying to move away from violence, when Krishna would push him into it!! 👇🏻
😭🙏 Hindu brothers and sisters, PLEASE don’t abandon me on this journey! As an African who has just begun his Hinduism journey, everyone has recommended the Bhagavad Gita. now I have a genuine question! 😭 Islam religious text discuss killing non-believers 👎 Now I’m reading about Hinduism, and something puzzles me. Why is the Bhagavad Gita associated with spiritual wisdom and non-violence when Krishna urges Arjuna to fight in a devastating war? I’m here to learn, not to judge. I genuinely want to hear different Hindu perspectives. Please share this with others who can help me understand.

In the context of the rampant hate and attacks on the civilisational spine of Bhārat, and Indians, it is time to bridge the logical and the spiritual. It's time that we show the world, who we are. The intellectual prowess that not only created economic prosperity, it also did so in a self sufficient and sustainable manner. In the interest of this objective, we plan to start an Akhand VishnuSahasranāma. Which will be used to unite all of India, under the guidance of the only VishwaGuru that truly ever was or will be. Stay Tuned and follow along!

day 3 - Somnath, the first of all by the Arabian Sea 🌊🔱 this one was NOT easy! the intricate architecture, tiny details, and all the smaller temples surrounding it. there's so much here that i still want to get right. still working on bringing every little corner to life. ✨ and above all, Somnath isn't just one temple. the surrounding Prabhas Patan area has over 20 historic and sacred sites, would love to cover them all over time. Somnath is live. go take a walk by the sea ♥️ jyotirlingas.in/somnath a few things about Somnath: 🔱 traditionally considered the first of the 12 Jyotirlingas 🌙 Somnath means "Lord of the Moon." legend says Shiva freed the moon god from a curse that had taken away his light 🌊 the Baan Stambh points south, with an inscription describing an unobstructed path across the ocean to the South Pole 🛕destroyed and rebuilt multiple times over centuries. the present temple was consecrated in 1951

about Kashi Vishwanath 🔱 🌏 Vishwanath means "Lord of the Universe", one of Shiva's most revered forms. 🪔 Kashi is believed to be Shiva's own city, a place he never abandons. 🙏 legend says Shiva whispers the Taraka Mantra to souls departing in Kashi, guiding them toward moksha. 🌊 the sacred Ganga flows beside the city, with Baba Vishwanath watching over it. 🌺 nearby, Maa Annapurna is worshipped as the goddess of nourishment. legend says even Shiva himself once sought food from her. and there's so much more to Banaras beyond just this one temple. ♥️
