ALHAMDULILLAH And that’s a wrap! PINK KWARA FORUM 2026 IS A SUCCESS! 🩷 What an amazing and impactful event. I couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved together. A big shout-out to our incredible convener, RAD Rahma, @scantalker for this beautiful initiative and for championing breast cancer awareness and early detection. Your vision is making a difference and it's an honor to be part of this ! But this is not the end; we are only getting started! Our mission continues, and free breast screening is still ongoing. Together, let’s keep spreading awareness, encouraging early detection, and saving lives. #PinkKwara2026 #BreastCancerAwareness #EarlyDetectionSavesLives

One of the lasting measures of leadership is the opportunities that we create for others. Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s @KwankwasoRM commitment to education, particularly the opportunities he has provided for thousands of young Nigerians to study at home and abroad, remains an admirable legacy. Many of these young men and women are today making valuable contributions to our nation and beyond. As he celebrates his 70th birthday, I join his family, friends and well-wishers in celebrating a life of public service. I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) continues to grant him good health, strength and wisdom in the years ahead. Happy 70th birthday, my dear brother.

Money doesn't solve every problem, but being broke can make simple problems unnecessarily difficult.

So, I spent last week in Germany with an international delegation of leaders from 18 countries for #Deutschlandtag 2026, the annual congress of the Junge Union, the youth organisation of the CDU/CSU. Highlights: ✅ Visited Bonn, Cologne, Hürth and Düsseldorf ✅ Talked AI and disinformation at Deutsche Welle ✅ Toured the NRW State Parliament and met Minister-President Hendrik Wüst ✅ Had breakfast with members of the Bundestag ✅ Saw Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the congress ✅ Was chosen to speak on the main stage on behalf of our delegation ✅ Practised my rusty German (we managed 😄) A proud week for me! Thank you to the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, the Junge Union and my boss @bukolasaraki for making it possible. 🇳🇬🇩🇪

Your death will come on an ordinary day, in the middle of unfinished plans, and the world will continue without you. So live a little.

When I celebrated Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti’s 100th birthday in May, I wrote, “100 years, and not a stain on his name.” Today, as the nation mourns his passing, I return to those words. To live so long, with so much responsibility, and retain the respect of generations is a remarkable achievement. We were fortunate to have him with us for a century. Still, saying farewell to an elder of his standing is painful. His life reminds us how much a good name matters, and the care we must take to preserve it. On behalf of my family, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Fasoranti family, Afenifere, and the Government and people of Ondo State. I hope his loved ones find comfort in the affection and respect with which Baba will be remembered across our country.
