I hate to say this, but if the TX Dems don’t make at least ONE meaningful statewide victory in November, I will have to move It’s going to become less safe for me as a trans woman as time goes on if there isn’t anyway the TX GOP can be roadblocked

OMFG, as a Texan, do you know how fucking SICK I am of hearing about this supposed threat of “Sharia Law” in FUCKING TEXAS?! The only ones trying to remove the divide between church and state here is people like Abbott
ABBOTT: Gina Hinojosa supports Sharia Law

I live in a town that has quite a few Muslims in it. And all of them mind their own business, none of them bother you Meanwhile, a lot of white rednecks here are the ones who keep pushing religion in schools and obsess over trans stuff

Are people literally just reading “former IDF chief” and going bezerk, lmao? Eizenkot is literally more moderate than Netanyahu, and would likely sit with the liberals. The worst thing he can be is too similar
Netanyahu was the moderate holy shit

I’m convinced that millions of Americans are so tuned out and have their heads in the sand, that if America became a military dictatorship overnight, THEY WONT EVEN KNOW!! They will just continue taking little Timmy to soccer practice, and be confused about the checkpoints
how “I don’t care about politics” people look

Want to know what’s weird? Historically in the US, the Christian Right use to argue that the church should be politically neutral, while liberal and progressive Christians use to argue that it should be politically involved Now, it’s seemingly the complete opposite 🤔🤔🫤

I know I’m overgeneralizing it, and there are exceptions. Liberal Christians used to be heavily involved in abolitionism, sufferage, and civil rights movement. Conservatives use to argue neutrality during them Now conservatives want some form of theocracy

Ok, I mostly tune out the internet for the past couple weeks, and apparently this happens?!? Has the fabric of reality just broken?
Nick Fuentes condemns Tucker Carlson for his rabid antisemitism "He is one of these Israel Derangement Syndrome people... He's completely obsessed, it's all he can talk about... A true jew hater!"

This is the most Texan headline I’ve read in a long time The average Texan needs to stop prioritizing sports over academics, and the school district system as a whole needs to be abolished. They shouldn’t be allowed to do this. This is ATROCIOUS!!
Plano public schools plan to contribute $250M in tax revenue to the Dallas Stars' future billion-dollar arena. The funds would come from recapture, which is money property-rich school districts give back to the state to be distributed to poorer schools.

How were people SO CONVINCED that it was white and gold, when the OG picture was literally in overexposure to the bright sun, NOT in the darkness

You literally need pragmatism and compromise in order for any system to function You also need them to even get to the society that you want I swear, the anarchists’ devotion to idealism and principles is their greatest strength, but is also their greatest detriment
Classical liberalism failed because it fell to pragmatism and compromise. They wrongly believed a state could protect your rights instead of destroying them. The true classical liberals of today know that life, liberty, and property only exist in the absense of a state.

The fact that you think those two events are comparable shows you lack any intellectual capacity They were tragedies, sure. But they are NOT an excuse to put on a broadcasted execution by the state, just created to be a spectacle or entertainment for an audience

I saw Charlie Kirk murdered on camera I saw Iryna Zarutska murdered on camera Televised deaths are not new The only difference is that this time the person dying actually deserves it

JFC, what the fuck is with everyone and their grandma bringing up Charlie Kirk and acting like I’m a communist?! Does anyone actually care about looking up if someone holds XYZ opinions before throwing everyone they don’t like into a single box?? Legit question
This is an absolutely disgusting chapter in US history The death penalty is already inherently wrong. However, THIS goes waaaaaay beyond that. This isn’t about “closure” for families. It’s not about the victims. It’s cruelty JUST for the sake of it….and making it performative

How about YOU shut up? You don’t actually care about the servicemen. You just want to see blood, and want outward violence normalized in society
He slaughtered his fellow servicemen and you're sitting here crying that he's going to meet the exact same fate? Shut the fuck up, troon filth.

If these people actually cared about justice, they wouldn’t insist on it being public. This sort of attention IS ACTUALLY WHAT THE SHOOTERS WANT These people just want to be performative, and don’t care about actual solutions. Thats it
