Speak for your fucking self 🙄
I have an easy fix for this: get married. Girls love being little secretaries for their men. To-do lists, spreadsheets, calendar reminders… Organizing things makes us happy.

I had my mum as my birthing partner instead of my daughter’s dad, and I am so glad I did. There’s something so comforting about being supported by someone who has been through it 🩷

I hate pornography with every fiber of my soul because I have spent the past three years writing about violent sexual criminal cases that I have traced back to porn use. There is no redeeming quality to pornography. It corrupts men and conditions women to accept sexual violence. There isn't any government, or non-profit, or any organization in the world tracking the connection between sex crimes and pornography. To do so would disrupt a very profitable industry. Even social media banks on the addictive nature of porn - it's everywhere, and increasingly violent, and the algorithm feeds it to viewers. Men and women can never respect each other as equals in an environment where men are aroused by choking and punching women. When men are trained to respond sexually to the torture of women, it undermines any humanity. Yes, men suffer too, but pornography hijacks men's sexual response to the detriment of women and children. Pornography breaks the social contract. Police officers, judges, teachers, who get off on images of sexual torture are the normal now. The only solution for restoring the social contract, in my opinion, is the abolition of pornography.

The deliberately low sentencing in the Gisele Pelicot case is distressing for women in France and across the world. If a drugged and sleeping 72 year old victim, subjected to the most horrific rapes imaginable and at the encouragement of her rapist husband, cannot obtain maximum verdicts in her case and for every guilty man - what hope is there for any victim who has to fight against the incredible prejudice and stereotyping of rape victims ingrained in the judicial system globally when women seek justice after sexual violence? What hope? Very little. Seriously depressing.

TIME magazine made a terrible mistake in failing to nominate Gisèle Pelicot for person of the year. Her stand is, I think, changing societal views about sexual stigma – all done in the hope that future victims won't ever feel ashamed about coming forward again. It's breathtaking
“Mrs Pelicot is not ashamed to mention [this] because she believes that this [information] can be useful to others.” Gisèle Pelicot’s lawyer Stéphane Babonneau says that the 72-year-old contracted four STDs after being drugged by her former husband and allegedly raped by at least 50 men over nine years. #Newsnight

This is so interesting. Iceland have done incredible work in changing things systemically for women, yet male violence against women remains a problem. “Is Iceland the best place in the world to be a woman?” youtu.be/h_y4xMOKWUM?si=dd-O…

Human females are born with all the fucks they will ever give, abut 2 million. By puberty, a girl has 300,000 to 400,000 remaining fucks, about 25% of her lifetime total. The quality of a woman’s fucks decreases with age, and by menopause, all her fucks are gone.

THANK YOU 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I find it astonishing that you write this, given that second wave feminism does indeed address the concept of gender-as-performance at length. Radical feminism holds, as you surely know, that societally-imposed and often oppressive aspects of 'femininity' and 'masculinity' should be challenged and destroyed, not codified and reified, as your ideology proposes. You quoted de Beauvoir on this very platform: 'one is not born, but becomes a woman', and you did it to support your contention that men can become women. That's an interpretation so far removed from what de Beauvoir was arguing that I gasped out loud at your shameless misrepresentation. De Beauvoir was saying - as anyone who's actually read The Second Sex (as I have) will know - that to be considered a 'true' or 'real' woman, to be 'worthy' of the word 'woman' in the eyes of a male-dominated society, girls are pressured to learn and display 'feminine' behaviours that may not be natural to them, and which they may experience as oppressive and restrictive. You, on the other hand, were pretending she'd argued that femininity is, quite literally, what makes a person a woman, and that in consequence, women can come in both penis-ed and non penis-ed varieties.

This is breaking my heart tonight. Despite every international forum and institution set up to protect human rights, women’s remain a secondary priority. Where’s the ICC on Taliban leadership? Where is the UN? Where are the signatories to the ECHR? Where is ANYBODY?
Women—Freedom—Life🇦🇫 After the Taliban announced the ban on girls’ education in medical institutes, female students in various provinces of Afghanistan protested. Some were barred from institutes and universities by the Taliban with cries and farewells.

So insulting.
Only the @BBC would have a Top 100 women list that includes the formidable Gisèle Pelicot alongside a woman that bleats ‘sex work is works’ & has ‘I am a whore’ tattooed on her skin, and alongside a cross dressing man who claims palm trees are transgender bbc.co.uk/news/resources/idt…

This is the brutal reality of life for women under the Islamic Republic in Iran. A woman in Tehran sent me this photo of her scarred back, flogged for the “crime” of showing her hair. Yet, she refuses to be silenced. Holding a Woman, Life, Freedom slogan, she took this photo as a powerful act of defiance, declaring: “The morality police arrested me for resisting their van. My ‘crime’ was unveiling. After months of court hearings, I was sentenced to 74 lashes. The cleric overseeing the punishment stood there to ensure it was carried out. I won’t give up my fight against this brutal regime, but we are fed up with living as prisoners in our own homeland.” Her scars tell the story of oppression, but her courage speaks of a revolution. This is a barbaric law, this is terrorism. How is this different from ISIS?

I couldn’t agree more- #MuteMisogyny
We need to make a trend on social media where we remind women to mute misogynistic accounts, blacklist certain egregiously sexist phrases or terms from your feed, because they are seriously profiting off of their misogyny. Especially on Elon's twitter. It's sickening how much money they're making off of tweeting something intentionally abhorrent about (insert demographic of women). And now it's just allowed on this shithole. The monetization feature has destroyed the way this website works. When you see a rage-bait poster with a blue check, block and mute them. The argument aint worth it, you're lining the worst person's pockets by doing it. How about #MuteMisogyny ?
