A new report found Elon Musk’s DOGE canceled $470 MILLION in grants and spending for Indian Country. The federal government’s obligation to tribes goes back to treaties, and many advocates are saying the cuts amount to treaty violations.

Nonnegotiable is such a funny echo of Uncommitted
University of Michigan freshman Robert Kashan is one of many Jewish Michiganders who are alarmed that Dr. El-Sayed hasn't shown more support for the five nonnegotiables. To Robert, these aren't crazy demands. They're a simple ask: affirmation of the same dignity, safety, and self-definition every other community receives, and the same legitimacy for Jewish statehood that every other nation receives. Robert remains hopeful about the next couple of weeks. He is inviting Dr. El-Sayed to engage directly with his concerns and demonstrate with words and conduct that he understands and respects our community’s baseline needs.

Literally Rogers would have nothing to campaign against her on. He's going to attack her for being too close to Israel? I don't think so. We have to lock in to defeat Rogers here but I don't think the DSCC would have to have spent a dime in Michigan if Haley was the nominee.

This guy was a real pain in our ass in 2010, we were trying to get the Zadroga Act for 9/11 first responders and he was a particularly obstinate, oh that’s just a New York problem, he voted against it all while talking about how much he respects the heroes of 9/11 and I’m a patriot and it was all bullshit”

One month ago, I sat down with President Lula to discuss how government serving poor and working people. Weeks later, Brazil took a historic step: a 40-hour workweek, at least two days off and no cuts to pay for more than 30 million workers. Workers fought for decades to win the five-day workweek in America. Brazilian workers have fought for this victory, too. I congratulate them on this achievement. Working people deserve time to live, not just work. Building a better future means giving people more of their lives back. And we’ll keep fighting for it.

No disrespect to the WFP but “working families” is such bizarre language to me and gets more bizarre every time a politician like Moody uses it.

It's true: the legal status of Palestinians in the West Bank is not the same as that of Blacks in segregated Mississippi. It's worse. In the Jim Crow South, Black Americans were at least citizens of the country in which they lived.
Judea & Samaria is not Mississippi. This analogy explains your inability to understand why the two state solution was never a solution for the Palestinians. This is a national conflict and not only an endless narrative about picking olives. The Palestinians of Judea and Samaria have rejected peaceful solutions. This should be understood by every Jew that has a moral compass.

That's straightforwardly wrong. How are you even a news reporter? The report mentions Israel 60 times. It refers to Palestine/Palestinian 35 times. It mentions Zionism (or Zionist) 11 times. It argues for the adoption of the IHRA Definition that includes numerous examples related to Israel. It says, explicitly, that anti-Zionism is antisemitic. It says, outrageously, that Muslims disproportionately hold antisemitic views. It says 45% of British people are antisemitic because they believe that Israel rates Palestinians like Nazis treated Jews. I'd say this report has almost nothing to do with antisemitism at all - it is almost entirely about Israel. Entirely. It's two key recommendations are to encourage all schools to adopt the IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism, which is plainly discriminatory towards people holding anti-Zionist beliefs; and for Prevent to be more actively engaged in helping schools deal with antisemitic incidents. It is an inflammatory, quite disgraceful report, that, if implemented, will create severe crises in schools across the country and lead to the systematic persecution and harassment of children and teachers expressing anti-Zionist views - including anti-Zionist Jewish students and teachers.

Let's hear a mainstream journalist attempt to defend this. Not only is the British media biased and broken, there is data to prove it.
The past 20 days have marked one of the most monolithic pushes by British media to vilify the Zionism is Racism Green Party motion. Imbalanced coverage would be an understatement. The papers wrote 447 articles on the Greens' Zionism vote. Israel, pro-Israel groups and the Chief Rabbi got 12,133 words. Palestinians got 3,173. Any institution that parades as a "news outlet" can no longer be taken seriously if it covers this motion without also covering the people, Palestinians, who have endured, suffered and been oppressed the most by the ideology in action. What the figures show: • Israel's government alone got 3,904 words. More than every Palestinian put together. • 2,422 of the 3,173 Palestinian words came in stories tying Lubna Speitan, the Palestinian who proposed the motion, to al-Qaeda. • Apart from Lubna, two Palestinians were quoted across 436 articles, for 76 words between them. Nobody in Gaza, the occupied West Bank or Lebanon was quoted at all. • Lubna told the Telegraph that 56 members of her family had been killed in Gaza. One article mentioned it: the Telegraph's own al-Qaeda story, in paragraph 44 of 51. • Lubna has received death and rape threats since the vote. Al Jazeera reported it. None of the 447 British articles did. • 43 articles said, in the paper's own voice, that the motion meant the destruction or abolition of Israel. The motion calls for one state with "equal rights for all". • 36 headlines said antisemitism. Not one of 447 said genocide. • 304 of the 436 articles we read in full never mentioned the genocide at all. • 0 of 89 comment pieces backed the motion. • The Daily Mail ran 38 articles on the motion, and in that time, just 2 on Israel's ongoing attacks across Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon. To put this in simpler terms: AIPAC is now such a political liability for candidates that it is ending its direct campaign contributions, but doubling down on dark money and other fundraising more difficult to tie back to it.
SCOOP: AIPAC will no longer endorse congressional candidates or earmark donations to congressional campaigns. The group's super PAC, United Democracy Project, will continue to operate and it will urge members to donate directly to pro-Israel candidates. jewishinsider.com/2026/10/ai…

A lot of people on this platform wake up every day looking for a new reason to talk about Somalis. At some point, you have to wonder what else they have going on.

What a miserable way to live, waking up every day consumed by hatred of Somalis. One morning, Miller wakes up and claims 98% of Somalis are on welfare. The next morning, Somalis are suddenly wealthy and flying first class. Then, somehow, Somalis are “low IQ,” yet smart enough to outsmart the United States government and pull off sophisticated white-collar crimes. So which is it? Miller and Co. don’t even bother making their stories consistent anymore. They just keep feeding their base one contradiction after another, knowing full well that outrage against Somalis is enough to keep them distracted from gas prices, stupid foreign wars, the Epstein cover-up, and everything else this administration would rather not answer for.
Stephen Miller claims Somali-Americans in Minnesota are "buying Mercedes, buying BMWs, they buy a nice house, all their kids fly first class all over the world" (This is a lie!)

Antisemitism is a scourge on society and we are committed to stamping it out. We’ve accepted all 27 recommendations of the Bell Review, including encouraging schools and colleges to adopt the IHRA Working Definition. We will continue to promote its adoption internationally.
