President Trump is embarrassing himself by refusing to recognize the facts of Amy Acton’s tragic childhood. She was raped repeatedly by her stepfather who was later indicted, then fled the jurisdiction and died a fugitive. The mother chose to stay with the abusive stepfather, and has not spoken to Amy since she was 12 years old. Intentional ignoring that horrible history reflects badly on our president and we should not be afraid to say that.

I find it wrong and unacceptable that Trump blames me for Russian aggression and the crimes committed by Russia. He is distorting the context, and that is unfair. In my view, this is merely an attempt to divert attention from the situation in Iran and events in the Middle East. The Strait of Hormuz is blocked—that is the true core of the problem.
