This is haunting me. What untold pain and horrors does this creature experience? No concept of self or circumstance, just an inescapable feeling of wrongness. A biological purpose and drive it is incapable of fulfilling as it uncontrollably morphs into this mutated monster. I'm going to have nightmares about this tadpole
