I do not like this one so well. All he does is yell, yell, yell. I will not have this one about. When he comes in I put him out.

It’s completely over for Brazil. The country will now experience Brazilification and turn into a terrible third world country like Brazil.
BREAKING: Lula overtakes Bolsonaro in Brazil's presidential election odds, now favored to hold on to power. 70% chance. 🔗 polymarket.com/r/Brazil26

.@SenBrianSchatz says that if Democrats take the Senate, the party's left wing needs to be strategic about not proposing things "that the president of the United States is guaranteed to veto." "If we want to be more aspirational, if we want to make more bold policy changes... that's for 2028."

🤦‍♂️ There is no hope. How are we supposed to have a substantive discussion about this topic when people say things like this? You know what I think should be nationalized? The US post office. And the CDC. Probably the Navy too. While we're at it, can we nationalize the supreme court? Oh wait, all of those things are already completely owned and operated by the government.
Starshield must be nationalized.

Given the violence and chaos that scattered Somalis across the world, destroying physical records and family memories, “Not to my knowledge” may be an honest answer. Religious, cultural, and social factors make family relationships hard to track from the outside. I have Somali friends who raise their brothers as sons and call their neighbors sisters.

I do think she is going to prison for taking bribes and defrauding the government, though.

Here's the truth about the Lindsay Graham story. They were planning to run that story this fall when Lindsay was running for re-election. His unexpected death put the story on ice. But now that his sister is in a closer than expected contest, they have decided to run it anyway. Just a bunch of low-life losers.

The tried and true “No, you are!” defense.
Fear is the point. Intimidation is the point. And if the President can try to do this to me, he can do it to anyone.

Countries with single payer systems pay much less for healthcare than we do because they are poorer than we are.
Even the CBO's modeling predicted a small decrease in total spending. Countries with single payer systems pay much less than we do.

I do not understand "swing voters" at all. Regardless of how you feel, the ideological choice is pretty fucking stark and has nothing to do with current events, candidate quality, polls, or debates. Argentina or Canada? (Even the Dems aren't going Full Euro.)

I’m not even saying you have to vote one way or another. But being undecided at this point is for sure a sign you shouldn’t be voting.

It's honestly insane. You have the greatest entrepreneurial genius of all time right in front of you. And on top of that, you're lucky he's completely sane. Give that kind of power to a Bill Gates and we'd already be living in 1984. You're corrupt to the bone, and you know full well you're lying. Instead of saying "ok, we lost, let's let Elon finish what he started," your first instinct is to want him in prison. For what, exactly? For soon giving sight back to the blind? For forcing the entire car industry to go electric? For launching, again and again, projects that move humanity forward? This class of corrupt Democrats makes me sick.
Kara Swisher says Elon Musk might be in jail right now if Kamala Harris was in office and “he knows what’s coming” if Democrats take back power.

If you commit a criminal act or use taxpayer dollars in a way that violates the law, you should be held accountable. President Trump and his allies have used manufactured outrage about what I said because they wanna talk about anything but what's going on right now in places like Michigan.

I have been clear for some time on where I stand on prosecuting corruption and illegal acts. In a speech a few weeks ago, I said we need to hold accountable the people and institutions who stole billions of our taxpayer dollars and weaponized the government against its people. And we need a list of signature cases that go after some of the most obvious and harmful abuses of taxpayer dollars. If Kristi Noem steered $200 million in taxpayer dollars to a friend's company to make her TV ads, as GOP sources suggest, she should be held accountable. If Doug Burgum gave a $13 million no-bid contract for the reflecting pool, he should be held accountable. And if Jeanine Pirro used the Department of Justice to go after the president's enemies without any legal basis, she should lose her law license, in line with the law.

Not sure about this one, but I do believe that flooding the internet with false information is the only way we will have privacy in the future. If I was a celebrity I would pay an AI agent to constantly post obviously fake photos and stories about me until I was un-Googleable.

If America had built 1,000 nuclear reactors by 2000 and continued expanding, nuclear power would supply ~90% of our electricity today, even with dramatically higher demand from electrification. We wouldn’t just have cheaper, abundant electricity. We’d have an entirely different industrial economy. Never forget what they stole from you.
Ralph Nader, 1997: “When we came out against nuclear power in the early '70s, the government had predicted that there would be 1,000 nuclear plants by the year 2000 in the United States, and there's 109 and shrinking, as more and more get shut down.” pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline…

What if what we call “consciousness” and “creativity” is actually just random misfires in our overtaxed human brain due to insufficient heat sinks and cosmic radiation…
Elon Musk says a chip for space should run hot, since raising the temperature 20% in Kelvin cuts radiator mass in half, and that a multi-trillion parameter model does not care about a few bit flips “Well, I guess you want to design it to be more radiation tolerant and run at a higher temperature. So roughly, if you increase the operating temperature by 20% in degrees Kelvin, you can cut your radiator mass in half. So running at a higher temperature is helpful in space." "There’s various things you can do for shielding the memory, but neural nets are going to be very resilient to bit flips. So most of what happens for radiation is random bit flips." "But if you’ve got, like, you know, a multi-trillion parameter model and you get a few bit flips, it doesn’t matter. Heuristic programs are going to be much more sensitive to bit flips than some giant parameter file. So I just design it to run hot. And I think you pretty much do it the same way that you do things on Earth, apart from make it run hotter.”

Prediction: in ~15 years, a law will pass that redirects social security payments into Trump accounts. Everyone will be mandated to have one and pay into it, with stipulations on how you borrow against it / withdraw. It's the Singapore model and it'll save our federal budget. The government will still honor the legacy social security recipients out of pocket for ~80 years afterwards before the full transition when no one alive has paid into social security.
