Why is it so easy to fill up a showcase and so hard to fill up a weight room on a daily basis? It is simply amazing how many dudes are seeking exposure and their uniform is falling off of them. Do players understand colleges are looking for players with physicality? Physical and athletic players that are game ready.

BASEBALL NEEDS MORE DUGOUT GUYS. Not bench players. DUGOUT GUYS. The kid who’s hitting .180 and is still the loudest dude when his teammate barrels one. The starter who gets pulled in the fifth and is on the fence two minutes later. The kid who picks up the catcher’s mask. Grabs the helmet somebody tossed. Meets the guy who scored at home plate. Knows who’s due up. Actually watches the damn game when he isn’t playing. Nobody puts that on a Perfect Game profile. There’s no exit velo for it. No ranking. No highlight video. But ask any coach who’s been around long enough… THOSE KIDS ARE WORTH THEIR WEIGHT IN GOLD. Everybody wants to be the guy.
