This is actually canon, the big reveal in Crimson Empire II (which came out pre NJO) is that much of the Imperial in fighting is being manipulated by Vong agent Nom Anor who effortlessly gets them to keep killing each other because there all gormless idiots

Aside from what Han said, can you imagine what Vong agents would do? Moffs and admirals were already acting on their own and prone to infighting, disguised Vong would have a field day getting crucial information and tearing the Empire apart. They’d barely need their fleet

What about Pellaeon himself? You never actually read the NJO, did you?
Legends Han Solo is both an accomplished General who defeated the most powerful Imperial Remnant in open combat, he is also the guy who actually killed Palpatine.
Genuinely nobody in the EU should be trusted more on how pathetic the Empire is

Of course, the drug mule who built his career on evading and destroying the space DEA should be taken at his word.
Its really sad that the Vong get co opted by Empire fanboys like this.
The actual novels do nothing but make fun of this concept, its only ever brought up so every other character INCLUDING ADMIRAL PELLAEON can mock it as total nonsense, and yet these frauds treat it as canon.
Wishing nothing but good fortune for everyone who lost there jobs.
Bioware at there best was something very special, Iconic in every sense of the word. I think being able to tease Bastila permanently altered my psyche and I'll be forever grateful
This is actually also shown in Jin's novel. In fact, the coup and Fire Nation troops pouring in to the city leads directly to her Grandfather dying.
Hardcore Azula and Zuko stans will ignore it, but the bodycount at Ba Sing Se directly caused by there actions is large.

And shout-out to Star Wars YT'ers who helped highlight part 1, like @EckhartsLadder and @SCentralized standing against the slop isn't easy, especially when so many of your contemporaries embrace it, but it is worth it
UPDATE: CALLING ALL ANTI AI SLOP STAR WARS FANS. If you saw this, you should know that DarthAngelus has released Part 1 of the sequel, Dark Force Rising. Direct link in tweet below, check it out
When it comes to Roku discussion, something not many know is Sozin didn't have Azulon till he was 82. The year he started the war, 12 years after Roku died.
Knowing that, Roku had plenty of reason to believe if he just outlived Sozin, the Imperialist agenda would die with him.
I really wonder what hardcore Azula and Zuko stans would do if they read this book and had to deal with the fact there favs actions led to more deaths in Ba Sing Se then Iroh's siege did, because FN troops didnt play nice with defenseless civilians
Jin's grandfather among them
