Washington state ballot iniative 638 would force all girls K-12 to undergo an invasive & traumatic genital exam to "PROVE" they arent transgender before playing sports.
Girls as young as SIX.
This where trans panic leads.
It's a great example of how transphobia hurts ALL women.
There are hints in several OG Bond books that Bond/Fleming had a flat in NYC for a short time. I have never found it. #otd 1945, Ian Fleming gave his NYC address as 1475 Broadway. Found!!! Naw, that was a business address, the old New York Times building. The search continues.

People say Roger Moore should of had a better introduction in Live and Let Die, but having him debut post shag is kind of perfect for his #JamesBond 🍸

On this day in 2012, Daniel Craig launched his third outing as #JamesBond with the royal premiere of SKYFALL at London’s Royal Albert Hall!
Was this the pinnacle of Craig’s time as 007?

It means they learned it by reading.
In October, 1920, Ian Fleming's Uncle Harcourt Rose married Frida Keyser (Ian was 12). Harcourt married 3 times and partied away a fortune, a fortune Ian's mother felt was rightly hers. No wonder Ian was so weird about money.

I big shoutout goes out to 27 year-old St. Paul man, Ebro Ahmed, who saw a school bus rolling by with its door open.
He saw a bus with 18 middle schoolers aboard, ran & jumped into the moving bus, engaged the emergency brake, & stopped the bus. The driver had a medical emergency
Book Bond especially liked pink champagne.
Today is World Champagne Day, and we're reminded of this quote from Casino Royale.
Whilst Bond is famous for his martinis, both he and Ian Fleming were partial to a glass of fizz. 007 actually drinks more Champagne in the books than he does martinis. We’ll raise a glass of ‘cheerful wine’ to that!

I will die on this hill. Go back and revisit the Dalton 007 movies. They kick absolutely ass and audiences hated them when they were new. Really wish he'd have gotten a third film.
Replying to @codecrackx15
All Daniel Craig did was cheap cosplay of the Timothy Dalton era. Audiences just weren't ready for it back then.

I don’t have the statistics in front of me, but in the history of history, has Donald Trump ever not instantly, reflexively sided with an accused sex abuser over the accuser? Even once?

While I get the point that we want Bond to be played English, the "Bond actor has to be English" argument always sends me. Tell that to Connery, Lazenby*, Dalton and Brosnan.
*why must my phone try to correct Lazenby to "gazebo"? Does it not know me at all?

Massive respect to Christina Applegate for speaking out. People think "not MS" is good news. In reality, it just leaves you blindly fighting a battle with no solutions.
Mayo told me something similar back in 2020: Probably not MS, but a viral-triggered neuroimmune and vascular condition.
Still struggling. Zero validated diagnostic or treatment protocols since.
Without a clear diagnosis, there's no real understanding. When people can’t put a recognizable name to your struggle, asking for accommodations at work, at home, or in your social life feels nearly impossible.
"Not MS" isn't a cure- it's an exclusion. Medicine must evolve beyond the art of ruling things out and commit to mainstreaming precision diagnostics for complex chronic illness.
Thanks, @1capplegate, for bravely bringing this crucial issue to center stage. 💕
