I know Senna is obviously a great driver but why isn’t Schumacher glazed in the same way? Is it really just the fact that the British media has a vendetta against Schumacher that they’ll never give up, ever?

Can you imagine MSC being glazed 24/7 during the German GP if it was still a thing? And frankly, for all the drivers born after like 2004/2005 even Schumacher being their idol is too much, you kids grew up watching Lewis, Vettel and Alonso…. and even Max. Not MSC and not Senna

Why does it never rain the exact right amount anymore 😭 I remember Silverstone 2008, it rained all day but it never got too wet at any point during the day that would command a red flag even for today’s standards. Aside from the morning hours before the race, and for 5 laps during the race it got a bit sketchy but there were never rivers of water that could cause a massive accident. Every time it rains in F1 now it seems like either a monsoon or drizzle, no in between 😢

Finally found the broadcast coverage of Michael Schumacher’s fastest time in Monaco Qualifying back in 2012. The only other “pole” by a 40+ year old in the 21st century. Please also note Lewis starting on the second row when his teammate had been knocked out on pure pace in Q2.
