KEEP PLAYING
Stop reacting to every little thing that doesn’t go your way and just focus on making the next play.
Seems simple, a lot of coaches preach this, players understand, but it is REALLY HARD TO EXECUTE on a consistent basis.

Leadership is the ability to influence others. If you can’t influence the team, you can’t lead that team. They have to trust you. Earn their respect first by being early, be last to leave, put in the work. Take responsibility for your play and be accountable. Earn their respect.

Your life is a journey.
There are paths to choose.
Bridges to cross.
Mountains to climb.
Deserts to endure.
Storms to survive.
There is treasure to be found and dragons that must be slain.
You will win some battles and lose some battles.
Some people will help you, others will criticize.
It is your journey. Embrace it. Persevere. Stand firm.
Never, ever give up.

Here’s a Brian Bosworth story you may not know: On Sterling Shepard’s Senior Day in 2015, Bosworth gave Sterling a magazine with his father, Derrick, on the cover.
It was an incredible gesture from one to legend to another.
“He’s one of our own.”
