Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.

I think we saw today that Brock Purdy is still not the upper echelon QB people make him out to be. Some really awful throws in that game, bad decisions. Commanders and Seahawks showed you that the 49ers are beatable. Falcons finally slayed the dragon of 2026. Now, they have a bye and we’ll see how they respond to being made to bleed for the first time this year.

There’s gonna be a lot of debating over the next couple of weeks about what the 49ers do and don’t need. IMO, the 49ers need insurance at WR, and an upgraded pass rush. Without those, they’re gonna have a hell of a time in January.
