Here’s Vince Coleman beating out a routine ground ball to the second baseman. I can’t even blame Pete Rose for arguing because that just isn’t supposed to happen. Vince then steals second because Vince Coleman.

Here’s a throwback to Aldon Smith’s incredible performance against the Bears. A 5.5 sack game that Niner fans will always remember
Aldon will be missed 🕊️

I am heartbroken to hear about Aldon Smith's passing. He was one of the most naturally gifted players I coached; could change a game at any moment. He was an important part of the Mizzou family, and losing him like this leaves a hole in our hearts.
Just awful news. Prayers up for his family and friends
Former #49ers pass rusher Aldon Smith died this morning in Northern California.
He was 36.
Statement from team:
“We are devastated by the sudden and tragic passing of Aldon Smith. Aldon’s undeniable talent and sheer dominance on the field were on display from the moment he joined our organization, having recorded one of the best rookie seasons the National Football
League has seen. Beyond his excellence as a player, Aldon will be remembered for his infectious smile that lit up every room he walked into. Our entire organization sends its deepest condolences to the Smith family and all who knew and loved Aldon.”
3 things that I know from playing 82-0.

Nick Saban testifying for a level playing field, no tampering, fighting for non-revenue sports, is legitimately the funniest thing to happen in college sports in many years.
