Never knew that! There weren’t many ‘barges’ on the Lancaster Canal in the 1980s.

This book was adapted to a TV series in 1987 & I was involved in the filming which took place on a barge on Lancaster Canal. The badger in the TV series was a young tame boar that had been brought to me. Not only did he become a star but eventually lived as a truly wild badger.
