⛏️The future of American mining is getting a $29.5 million boost. @ENERGY is funding 17 National Lab projects to improve domestic mining, from more efficient mineral recovery to autonomous exploration. These innovations support ACMA’s mission to strengthen American mining and supply manufacturers with essential raw materials. 🔗 Read the Release: energy.gov/cmei/articles/doe…

Enacting the Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act is a critical step toward building secure domestic supply chains and reducing America’s reliance on foreign adversaries for the minerals and materials vital to our economic and national security. Critical minerals companies are making substantial investments to strengthen the domestic supply chain, supporting our national defense, our energy future, and the growth of the American economy. But they are doing so on permitting timelines that are too often unpredictable. BAAJA brings needed coordination, predictability, and accountability to federal reviews and authorizations. ACMA applauds @SenatorHeinrich, @SenWhitehouse, @SenCapito, and @SenMikeLee for their tireless, bipartisan work on this bill. We look forward to working with Democrats and Republicans in the House to swiftly pass BAAJA and send it to the President’s desk.

Ending our reliance on foreign critical minerals isn't just about digging them up — you've got to process, build, and recycle them here too. That's the ballgame, and @ENERGY just made a serious play. ⚾ $500M to 7 projects expanding critical mineral processing, battery manufacturing & recycling in the U.S. — lithium, cobalt & the batteries that run on them. The kind of durable, cross-the-aisle investment ACMA keeps pushing for. 👏 🔗 energy.gov/articles/energy-d…

Plot twist: a lot of the critical minerals we're scrambling for are already here — stuck in our industrial waste. 🤯 @ENERGY just put $162M behind 9 projects to actually pull them out: scandium, copper, antimony, rare earths. Waste → strategic supply. We're here for it. 🔗 energy.gov/cmei/articles/doe…

The @DeptofWar's Office of Strategic Capital just launched the National Security Fund Finance (NSFF) program — pairing federal loans with private capital to strengthen critical minerals supply chain. 🪨 ACMA welcomes tools that drive investment into domestic processing, and we look forward to seeing cash start flowing to the projects that will secure our supply chains. war.gov/News/Releases/Releas…

A new @USGAO report backs what ACMA champions: battery recycling could cut U.S. import reliance for lithium, cobalt, copper & nickel in 2–3 years — if we build domestic capacity. Recycling is central to American supply chain security. ♻️ 📄 Read the GAO report: gao.gov/products/gao-26-1086…
