Tomorrow is one of them “don’t leave your couch” type of days. Too many good college football games on tomorrow all day.

It is literally impossible to remember a seat number for more than 12 seconds. I don’t make the rules.
I look at my seat number no less than 20 times from the gate to my seat. 🤦🏻

There are 13 teams ranked higher in the CFP rankings than the AP Poll...9 are from the SEC. There are also 9 teams ranked lower in the CFP rankings than the AP Poll... ZERO are from the SEC. This isn't a coincidence.

Drove all the way to my local polling place and there was literally nowhere on my ballot to vote against a 24 team College Football Playoff and a 76 team NCAA Basketball Tournament. Had to write it all in

If there’s one thing we can all agree on it’s that the first Saturday watching football without political ads is going to be glorious

I’ve watched Tait’s 79 yard touchdown run so many times today, and my favorite part every single time is @tjmoore305’s block 🥹

Imagine if the ACC got the same benefit of the doubt as the SEC. 😂 Wake Forest is 6-1, and its ONLY loss came against the No. 1 team in the country, Miami. Shouldn’t Wake be TOP 5? 🤔 That’s a QUALITY LOSS, right? Or does that argument only work for certain conferences? 👀😂 #4thAndFacts #ACCFootball #SECBias

Dabo Swinney, 17 days ago: "We really haven't seen Tait Reynolds take a game over with his legs like he can. I think that's the next step for him. He can fly. He doesn't run well. He runs elite."

Our manager. 59 years old. 31 years at the company. The company needed to cut $140,000 from our team's budget. That's two junior salaries. Or one of his. He went to HR and asked to put himself on the list instead. They said yes. He never told any of us. He took early retirement and a $40,000 package. On his last day, we took him to lunch. He joked about finally learning to golf. I asked him why he did it. He said, "You've got a new lease. Kemal's got a baby. I've got a paid-off house and a bad knee." He said, "Easy maths." He sends our team a photo every Friday. He's terrible at golf.

*Maturity taught me that* not every woman is a Proverbs 31 woman. And honestly, that’s okay. *Some women are Deborahs* — called to lead, speak boldly and stand on the front lines. *Some are Ruths* — loyal, humble and faithful even when nobody is watching. *Some are Esthers* — positioned for influence, with courage rising when the moment calls for it. *Some are Marys* — chosen to surrender and carry a purpose they didn’t fully understand. *Some are Hannahs* — shaped by prayer, waiting, tears and a faith that refuses to die. *Some are Abigails* — wise, discerning and brave enough to step in before things fall apart. *Some are Miriams* — worshippers, leaders and women who know how to praise God after surviving battles. *Some are Rahabs* — women with complicated pasts who prove that your beginning does not have to determine your ending. *Some are Naomis* — women who have lost so much, yet somehow find the strength to begin again. *Some are Lydia’s* — business-minded, resourceful women who use what they have to make room for others. *Some are Priscillas* — women who teach, guide and build alongside others. *Some are Mary Magdalene’s* — women whose lives were transformed by God and who carried their testimony boldly. *And then there are Jezebels* — a reminder that influence without humility, power without accountability and manipulation can destroy everything around you. *The Bible didn’t give us only one type of woman.* *It gave us leaders.* Warriors. Mothers. Worshippers. Entrepreneurs. Intercessors. Survivors. Women who waited. Women who fought. Women who failed. Women who were restored. And women whose lives became warnings. *So stop expecting every woman to look* the same, love the same, lead the same or walk the same path. *You don’t have to be another woman*. You just have to become the woman God created YOU to be. ❤️‍🔥🙏🏾

Honestly, I don’t think we need a smarter world. I think we need more Sunday dinners, more unlocked front doors, more kids playing outside, and more conversations that don't involve a screen.

Bar culture is dying. Ppl are craving third spaces more than ever, so why does every social option have to revolve around drinking poison? I miss malls. Movie theaters. Bowling alleys. Bookstores. Coffee shops. Picnics.

I'm in love with this quote: "If it doesn't happen the way you wanted, it will happen in a better way than you imagined." That's the beauty of God's plan.

Not that anyone is going to see this or possibly even care, but I’m putting it out there anyway. My connection to @ClemsonUniv @ClemsonTigers and especially @ClemsonFB has never been tied to wins and losses. It’s much deeper than that. When I was 10, my dad took us to the Gator Bowl to see Clemson play Pitt. It was my first ever time to watch live football. Clemson was destroyed in that game. The final score was 34-3. But, I was hooked. A 10 year old girl being enamored by college football wasn’t common. And it wasn’t so much football that hooked me. It was that my dad sat beside me at the game and patiently answered all the questions I had about what was happening on the field. He willingly shared his passion for the sport and for his team. My dad grew up in a little community off Hwy 201 called Level Land, played every sport possible at Dixie High School in Due West, and bounced between Erskine College and Clemson College (not a University at the time) until he graduated from Clemson in 1963. We moved to the upstate when I was in 2nd grade, I consider the areas around Greenville, Easley, Anderson, and Clemson to be my collective hometown. Every trip back is like a homecoming for me. Because we lived in close proximity to Clemson, it made sense for my dad to invest yearly in Clemson football season tickets for our family. We were there to see Clemson’s historical 1981 National Championship season and the many mediocre seasons that followed. I never once heard my dad threaten to remove his support from Clemson due to a disappointing season. Sure, he was disappointed and had his complaints, but the thought of abandoning his Tigers never crossed his mind. For years after I moved away and had our own families, my dad continued to attend football games. He enrolled all his grandkids in the Tiger Cub Club soon after each was born. He was truly a diehard fan. He continued to attend football games long after I had moved away. In fact it was at a Clemson game that my dad’s legs went numb paralyzing him from the waist down. He was taken to the ER and within 48 hours was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. Cancer. A tumor had grown into his spinal cord and had caused his paralysis. Three years later, he passed. Fifteen years after he died, I shot my first Clemson game from the sidelines (shout out to @MDavidHood and @SCRNPhilK for giving me the opportunity). Then in 2019, with tears in my eyes I shot my first frame of a Clemson playoff game in Arizona at the Fiesta Bowl. The moment was emotional because my dad was with me in so many ways. I continue to shoot games always in my dad’s memory and in gratitude for this orange path he set me on. My brother is a Clemson alum and two of my kids are Clemson alums. Although I applied to and was accepted to Clemson, I graduated from Erskine. I hope to get my masters in Fine Arts at Clemson one of these days. For me, this Clemson connection is deeper than a football score, more meaningful than the record at the end of the season, and not dependent on the person who is head coach. It’s a legacy. Maybe that’s the reason I don’t get angry and frustrated when a football season doesn’t go the way I hope it will. When I’m called a sunshine pumper or criticized for perpetual optimism about Clemson, I just remind myself those doing the criticizing just don’t know why my allegiance is so strong. Now, if they take the time to read this, they will know. Go Tigers until the day I die.

If I ever decided to get a Masters in psychology, no doubt my thesis would revolve around the mindset of the common college football fan. What a wild and interesting study that would be.
