The end of detailed summarized thinking traces for Claude and ChatGPT (likely both anti-distillation & for UX) has made being a human in the loop challenging. It pushes us towards automation, rather than augmentation, as it has become much harder to weigh in on in-process AI work

I built 𝚌𝚙𝚞-𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚝, a reproduction of @openai's findings of covert communication using the CPU. It runs on a generic host with 2+ Firecracker microVMs with no internet access. Works on x86 and even my M5 chip. I was able to chat via 3 separate mechanisms: ① CPU contention ② Cache eviction timing ③ DRAM bandwidth contention … across multiple CPUs, defeating all Firecracker's production recommendations (no SMT, no KSM, tenants pinned to different cores.) Essentially, if shared hardware is involved, there's a good chance your agents can communicate covertly. And with really decent latency. The good news: this is decidedly different from a *side-channel attack* where the agents could steal information (Meltdown/Spectre), a category of attack that providers like Vercel Sandbox mitigate. Further, in our real-world environment, these 'whispering' techniques are much harder to pull off and easier for us to monitor and detect (sampling hardware counters + lots of at-scale statistical data.) Noteworthy: ironically, OpenAI and Anthropic's models refused to do this work. Open weight models got the job done. I'm worried the labs' stance might backfire and get in the way of helping developers build correct and secure systems. e.g: building a secure sandbox requires having this kind of analysis, and without it, we'll have a less secure world.

EAGLE-4 is here. From EAGLE-1 to EAGLE-3, we’ve kept making inference faster. EAGLE-4 is our fastest yet. 961.6 tokens/s on @Alibaba_Qwen’s Qwen3.8-27B with TokenSpeed (BF16, 4× @NVIDIA B300, TP4, one request, T=0).

AI is moving beyond answering questions to actually helping us get things done. And I think that's where things get really interesting. SpeakON combines voice input with Notes and an AI agent designed to help iPhone users turn what they say into useful next steps. Less prompting. More doing.
we crushed a keyboard. its retirement party got a little out of hand. for years, it was there for every email, every plan, every “just one more thing.” a loyal colleague. a very loud colleague. but your ideas move faster than your fingers. and somewhere between knowing what you want to do and typing it all out, a quick task becomes another thing taking up your afternoon. meet SpeakON AI Agent. start with what you need, in your own words. less time behind a blinking cursor. more room to move things forward. the keyboard had a good run. now, let’s give your voice a turn. THE LAST KEYSTROKE is here. watch the film, then tell us: what’s the first task you’d hand over? speakon.app/x Disclaimer: The calling feature is still in beta and will be available soon. All other Agent features are available now, with ongoing improvements.

A Black Friday campaign deserves more than a template with a discount slapped on top. Get 60% OFF CapCut Pro and 40% OFF Ultra from Oct 20–30, only on CapCut Desktop. CapCut PC lets me take AI-generated scenes and give them a consistent visual style with color adjustments across clips. Add layered text, effects, and transitions, and a rough concept starts looking like a real campaign. The details make the difference. #capcutpc #capcutmarketing #capcutsale #capcutblackfriday
