How long do we give it till our president-elect takes credit for strong economic growth, rising real wages, falling inflation, and record low levels of unemployment?

If Dems and other officials do not hold the perperators of past admin crimes accountable *and* tackle the structural issues that made the US vulnerable to mafia state rule, all the Biden admin will be is a brief interlude between aspiring autocracy and entrenched autocracy.

I don’t think there is anyone in America - Republican, Democrat, independent; journalist, non-journalist - who can deny the fact that if Biden or Harris had simulated oral sex on a microphone at a rally on the eve of the election, there would be wall to wall coverage of it on cable, the front page of every paper in the land, and 24/7 demands for them to quit the race. The debate over media bias and the pass that Trump gets, the total normalization of his abnormal behavior, is over, dead, done, finished. It’s indisputable at this point.

The reason Trump's critics call him a threat to democracy is he continues to falsely claim that he was the victim of "rampant Cheating and Skullduggery" during the 2020 election and claims that "WHEN I WIN, those people that CHEATED will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long term prison sentences."

Replies to this are all vibes of people who would’ve been losing their minds in the 1950’s saying Eisenhower was a communist.
Replying to @PolitiBunny
If u think electing Harris is ushering in communism your brain is broken.

My name’s Kyle. I’m from Alabama. I’m a two-time Trump voter. I’m not voting for Trump in 2024-For many, many reasons. Trump is unfit to serve as president. This would be the third time that he’s running, which is very unusual as a GOP nominee. He lost last time, he tried to cause an insurrection and overturn our elections. He abandoned longstanding US foreign policy. He’s embraced a radical faction of the GOP with JD Vance, post-liberalism. Essentially that wants to undo what America is and our freedoms. They want to expand the government’s control over the individual in your home-And many people that are in the GOP like myself, are for limited government. We’re not for expanding the government and taking people’s rights away. That’s not a conservative thing. It’s not conservative to take people’s rights away. Trump’s record, fiscally, is awful. He added the record to our debt. It’s $8 trillion about-And, just overall Trump brings out the worst in people with his behavior. He’s a bad example for America, Americans, and our kids. In 2024, I’m gonna be voting for Kamala Harris. @AccountableGOP @HaleyVte4Harris @RpsAgainstTrump @RepsForHarris @dudes4harris @KamalaHarris @KamalaHQ #Harris2024 rvat.org/testimonial/kyle/

Really revealing tweet. Almost as if these people are a very serious threat to you and people you supposedly care about. And it would be very very bad if those people gained power, so you should doing everything within yours to stop them. Hmmm....

The people who claim to be the biggest patriots are the same people who are joyless over the release of American hostages, cheer against American athletes in the Olympics, and hang the American flag upside down.

Btw, Georgia police are admitting it's a miscarriage—and that they've sent the 8-12 week embryo/fetus for *an autopsy.* This is what happens under personhood laws: every pregnancy outcome is suspect. (More info at my newsletter, linked in bio) teapaw.org/JessicaValenti/status/…
In the newsletter right now: Georgia cops are investigating a miscarriage, and it's following all of the traditional markers of pregnancy criminalization Link in bio

We did it folks! AP has pulled down their fake fact check on JD Vance having sexual relations with his couch. This is a victory for the truth and for those of us who care about our furniture.
