Congrats to @Piper_XC girls, back-to-back state qualifiers.
Great team accomplishment! With two top runners off their pace, others stepped up and all 5 scorers placed between 14th & 19th.
Congrats also to Oliver Bass, who finished 11th for an boys' individual qualifier spot.

Fun fact: In 130 years of Kansas Basketball, there have only been 8 head coaches. Of those 8, 6 of them are in the Naismith Hall of Fame (including the one who the HOF was named after).
Ted was the coach when I was at KU, and although we weren't that great then, he had an amazing career, and a kinder, finer man you'll never meet. And he's still rocking it at 97 years old!
Congrats Coach Owens!

What a proud day for @KUHoops as Coach Owens takes his rightful place in the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. Congrats Coach and Rock Chalk! 🏀
