Yet every single year, the United States Congress rubber-stamps trillions and trillions of dollars in current and expanded spending without anyone asking at all: How are we going to pay for this?
By the way, the Pentagon has continued to fail every audit. They are paying for it with your health care and lack thereof.

What an amazing day on the water in and around Mobile Bay. Sadly there is so much happening around the bay these days that threatens the livelihoods and quality of life of so many residents. There is nothing inconsistent with economic development and preserving the natural wonders and biodiversity of the entire region. But if we are not careful it will be lost for future generations. More than 100 elected officials have joined me in calling on parking lot and garage owners across New York City: Don’t give ICE a place to operate. Don’t rent to them. Tell them they’re not welcome.
Last week, ICE agents shot Oscar Belgal in the neck in Marble Hill while his 5-year-old son sat in the car. They had been staging nearby in a private parking lot.
Our city laws keep ICE off public property. Now, we’re calling on private property owners to do the same. One garage on Morton Street already removed ICE vehicles after neighbors spoke out. Every owner has that power.
