I am honored to have end/concluded the #WFA Gender Justice and Accountability Conference at the @UN with a historic announcement by the Permanent Missions of Chile and Spain. They Announced that Chile, Costa Rica, Spain, France, Luxembourg, and Mexico have referred the violations of women's rights in Afghanistan to the International Criminal Court. These six nations have requested the ICC prosecutor to address the ongoing and systematic rights violations of women and girls in Afghanistan.
I am proud to be part of this historic moment.

Local sources informed Afghanistan International that unidentified individuals have "shot" at least 12 Hazara civilians in Daikundi.
The reports also indicate that four additional individuals were injured in this incident.
The victims are from the Sangtakht and Bandar districts of Daikundi province.
