We have not even started the melt-up yet on $SPX. 6500->6000ish (this can be skipped) ->8400 before Apr opex 2026.

This comes just 2 days after Microsoft asked nearly 60k of its employees to voluntarily resign in an effort to downsize.
The employee who leaked this clip of the meeting to me was one of many who have expressed concerns to me. Multiple Microsoft employees have told me they feel as though MSFT doesn’t give them the same amount of respect and care.
Many Microsoft employees are asking why H-1B workers aren’t the first to be cut during a downsize since MSFT claims none of the downsizing is performance based.
Employees are curious why American workers aren’t being put first in the United States.

Way too much doomsday posts this weekend. I work with the frontier labs daily.
- Capex is committed
- Dirt is being shoveled
- The labs COULD slow down capability training due to white collar job displacement. Lots of spend is happening on human data which should help margins greatly
- Agent swarm risks are real but manageable
- China/open source is moving fast but again not really getting traction i.e enterprise spend. There is no way a F1000 companies would/allowed to funnel large api spend to china. Right now they are just building their own routers and using bedrock.
Models are already smart enough 80/20 purposes. Larger questions are on stickiness, paid adoption sits at 3% consistently. A world where everyone is paying for a chatbot is just not there, AI is not a daily essential i.e phone. Only a certain kind of archetype (builder) wants it... at least for now.
