Abugida Robotics and Technology center teamed up with Terry research lab, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, in a project aimed at maximizing our Ethiopian ventilators and is co-authoring a paper on the topic. We would like to thank the staffs for sharing stacking animal data to us.

The entire continent of Africa (pop 1.2B) has fewer than 2,000 ventilators. Ethiopia (pop 100M) has 54 ventilators allocated to COVID-19 patients. @TerryResearch provided vent stacking animal data to Ethiopia's @AbugidaAnd. Our groups are coauthoring a paper on the topic. TBC...

we were running a detailed research on how to use one ventilator for two to four patients. This attempt has been previously made using T & Y tubes. The oxygen flow within the pipe and the effect of splitter geometry on outlet Tidal volume & PEEP is numerically investigated.
