For all those still saying we can just leave the ECHR & create our own Bill of Rights - please remember that pre-supposes you can trust the Government with your human rights in the first place. During the past eighteen months we’ve had an anti strike law - designed to rob millions of workers of their democratic right to strike, an Elections Act will lock millions of people out of the electoral process & new laws have stripped back our right to protest about it all - does that seriously sound like a Government you want to trust with your human rights?
