Barry's positioning and awareness is absolutely fantastic, his ability to get the ball in the net from that point on is questionable
But I'd so much rather he be in the right place to miss/score these chances rather than getting nothing all game
That cup game in midweek showed us the error of our ways with VAR, I miss celebrating goals properly without knowing it's going under a microscope for five minutes
Great game from Hackney in general, just seems clear he can't play in that deeper midfield role in this team as it stands. He'd be fantastic in the 10

The "unbeaten" tag really papered over a lot of massive cracks in this Everton team at the start of this season. Giving up far too many easy goals and spurning too many chances

What's the point of this game? If City are going to be punished as everyone expects, this game should really mean nothing. But now Gravenberch has been sent off, so it affects another game after this through his suspension
This lack of punishment is absolutely ridiculous
Phenomenal journalist and an even better person, @joe_thomas18 will be a huge loss to the Everton scene but a massive gain to wherever he goes next
