Only two players have made more appearances in the Champions League/European Cup than Manuel Neuer.

Yan Diomande scored at the weekend against Sevilla — and he scored again tonight, against his former employers.
And much like on Sunday, his strike was a thumping hit.
He rounded off a 4-1 Real Madrid win against RB Leipzig.

Kylian Mbappé has become the first player in the history of the European Cup/Champions League to score 25+ goals with two different clubs:
42 goals for Paris Saint-Germain
25 goals for Real Madrid

Diomande is still a work in progress, of course, but he can already produce moments of magic. He gives Madrid the freedom to play without fear — and that makes them far more dangerous heading into El Clasico.

Full time | Bayern Munich 2-2 Arsenal - A cool game to watch unfold and a draw seems about right. It felt like both teams had their spells and needed to work out how to nullify each other's threats in real time. It helps that three of the four goals were of such quality too.

A lovely one-touch passing goal started by Rice, with Gyokeres playing the crucial final pass back into him
Arsenal's old north London nemesis strikes again.
Harry Kane adds a goal from the penalty spot to his earlier assist.
The Bayern Munich striker has now scored in 10-straight Champions League games, becoming only the second player to do so behind Cristiano Ronaldo.
Thibaut Courtois made some big saves in the first half to stop RB Leipzig from taking the lead against Real Madrid.
And Jose Mourinho's team went into the break 1-0 up, thanks to Bernardo Silva — who has his first goal since joining in the summer.
Bruno Fernandes has appeared to question his team’s tactics and say they need to be “more brave” after their 4-1 Champions League defeat to Como.
Fernandes told UK broadcaster TNT Sports after the match that it was “a decision from the staff to not press man-to-man”, when asked about their abilities to problem-solve.
“I think sometimes we have to be more brave under pressure, take a risk of getting that press very high and making them uncomfortable, as they did to us,” he added. “The centre-back was coming to mark me all the way into my own half. I think sometimes we had to do that as a team and we were not really able to do it.”

Bayern Munich 1-1 Arsenal - Davies has been threatening Arsenal all game. Now found by an incredible Harry Kane pass, he finishes first time to draw Bayern level
Eberechi Eze, who was replaced at half-time in Arsenal's win at the weekend, opens the scoring against Bayern Munich three days later.
Played onside by the finest of margins from Josip Stanisic, he fired past Manuel Neuer after latching onto a stunning pass from Martin Odegaard.
Bukayo Saka limped off inside the opening 10 minutes of Arsenal's Champions League tie against Bayern Munich.
The winger went down clutching his quad after kicking the ball across the pitch, and has been replaced by Eberechi Eze.
A big blow for the Gunners.

Michael Carrick apologising to the Manchester United fans at full-time.
#MUFC
Michael Carrick was given the permanent job in large part because he allowed fans and players to dream of Champions League football.
That reality is now a nightmare.
Yes, there are injuries, but this was a joyless, limp and timid performance that goes beyond any availability.
Manchester United were stretched past breaking point off the ball, were left to chase shadows, were careless and lacking quality in possession, and were completely outplayed.
A competition that was supposed to be a chance for Manchester United to build their squad and re-establish their reputation in Europe is turning instead into a semi-regular opportunity for further humiliation.

Cesc Fabregas' Como put four past Manchester United in a chastening evening for Michael Carrick's side.
Nico Paz scored twice, and assisted another, as the Italians make it two wins from three in the Champions League this season.
Manchester United fans have had enough and are not sticking around for the end of their game.
Michael Carrick's side are 4-0 down to Como after 77 minutes.
