SV-Derby in the clash of the Bundesliga champions and 2nd Bundesliga champions. We're very proud of @AdinOsmanbasic and @ReneMaric. (First goalless game for Bayern since 59 games btw, apparently it needs a Spielverlagerer to neutralise a Spielverlagerer. 😄)

Miron Muslić's Schalke 04 is another team with a lot of relational organisation in attack. FBs are primed to play diagonally inside with five attackers in close proximity to combine centrally. teapaw.org/spiel_zauber/status/20…

In this weeks @iDiskiTimes article I wrote about the debate of freedom vs structure. Readers will know very well which one I promote more. Around this debate, we look at different common scenarios including, how can freedom look in analysis meetings or when taking over a new team

This is fascinating to me. It feels like we’re witnessing a major shift in modern football. Many analysts I’ve spoken to, including myself, mention that some teams are becoming incredibly difficult to analyze due to the lack of clear structural references to rely on.
