Shqipëria përgëzon Listën Studentore për fitoren bindëse në zgjedhjet parlamentare në Serbi dhe qytetarët për pjesëmarrjen e gjerë në procesin demokratik.
Zhvillimet në Serbi dëshmojnë rëndësinë e angazhimit qytetar dhe të votës së lirë si shprehje e vullnetit demokratik. Energjia qytetare që gjen përfaqësim përmes institucioneve është një mundësi për ndryshim, por edhe një përgjegjësi për ata që marrin besimin e qytetarëve.
Një përgëzim i veçantë shkon për Koalicionin Shqiptar dhe shqiptarët e Luginës së Preshevës, të cilët kanë shënuar një rezultat të rëndësishëm në këto zgjedhje. Sipas projeksioneve paraprake, dy mandate parlamentare janë në perspektivë, ndërsa gara për një mandat të tretë mbetet e hapur. Ky përfaqësim duhet të shërbejë për avancimin e të drejtave të shqiptarëve, garantimin e trajtimit të barabartë dhe adresimin e shqetësimeve të tyre legjitime.
Në këtë kapitull të ri politik për Serbinë, normalizimi i marrëdhënieve me Republikën e Kosovës mbetet një përgjegjësi thelbësore. Shqipëria pret një angazhim konstruktiv në dialogun e ndërmjetësuar nga Bashkimi Europian, respektimin dhe zbatimin e marrëveshjeve të arritura, si dhe hapa konkretë drejt marrëdhënieve të qëndrueshme fqinjësore. Ndryshimi politik duhet të krijojë mundësi të reja edhe për paqen dhe bashkëpunimin në rajon.
Shqipëria mbetet e gatshme të bashkëpunojë me institucionet që do të dalin nga ky proces zgjedhor, mbi bazën e respektit të ndërsjellë, interesave të përbashkëta dhe angazhimit për një Ballkan Perëndimor më të qëndrueshëm, më të sigurt dhe të orientuar drejt së ardhmes europiane.

On my invitation, I met today with the Ambassadors of the European Union Member States in #Albania for an open and substantive exchange on recent developments in the country.
I underlined the Government’s unwavering commitment to democratic freedoms, including the fundamental right to peaceful asembly, while stressing an equally fundamental principle: violence, vandalism and attacks against public or private property can never be accepted as legitimate means of political or any other form of expression.
This principle applies in Albania, as it does everywhere in #Europe.
We also discussed the importance of preserving institutional stability, upholding the rule of law, and ensuring that all actions by public authorities remain #lawful and #proportionate.
Dialogue, to which the #Government remains open anytime, anywhere and with anyone not involved in acts of violence, is a democratic value and the best way to bridge differences, address concerns and move forward together.
At this important moment for Albania, our European path remains, more than ever, a strategic national objective.
Difficult moments should strengthen our resolve, not distract us from the reforms, democratic standards and responsibilities that come with our ambition to join the European Union.
I appreciated the frank exchange with our #European partners and their continued engagement with Albania in pursuit of what is, and remains, our shared goal: a common European future.

Me ftesën time, u takova sot me Ambasadorët e Shteteve Anëtare të Bashkimit Evropian në #Shqipëri, për një shkëmbim të hapur dhe përmbajtësor mbi zhvillimet e fundit në vend.
Nënvizova angazhimin e palëkundur të Qeverisë ndaj lirive demokratike, përfshirë të drejtën themelore për manifestim paqësor, duke theksuar njëkohësisht një parim po aq themelor: dhuna, vandalizmi dhe sulmet ndaj pronës publike apo private nuk mund të pranohen kurrë si mjete legjitime të shprehjes politike apo të çfarëdo forme tjetër të shprehjes.
Ky parim vlen në Shqipëri, ashtu si kudo tjetër në #Evropë.
Diskutuam gjithashtu rëndësinë e ruajtjes së stabilitetit institucional, respektimit të shtetit të së drejtës dhe garantimit që të gjitha veprimet e autoriteteve publike të mbeten #ligjshme dhe #proporcionale.
Dialogu, për të cilin #Qeveria mbetet e hapur në çdo kohë, kudo dhe me këdo që nuk është i përfshirë në akte dhune, është një vlerë demokratike dhe mënyra më e mirë për të kapërcyer dallimet, adresuar shqetësimet dhe për të ecur përpara së bashku.
Në këtë moment të rëndësishëm për Shqipërinë, rruga jonë evropiane mbetet, më shumë se kurrë, një objektiv strategjik kombëtar.
Momentet e vështira duhet të forcojnë vendosmërinë tonë dhe jo të na shmangin nga reformat, standardet demokratike dhe përgjegjësitë që burojnë nga ambicia jonë për t’u anëtarësuar në Bashkimin Evropian.

The nomination of Lana Nusseibeh by the United Arab Emirates for the position of Secretary-General of the United Nations offers a fresh beginning that the UN community cannot afford to miss, and Albania is honoured to give her candidacy its wholehearted support.
I came to know Lana personally and see her in action during Albania’s term as an elected member of the UN Security Council, when I had the opportunity to appreciate her immense knowledge of international politics, her distinctive intellectual humility and her natural gift for bridging differences between cultures and perspectives.
Amid the gloom surrounding the United Nations today, Lana’s candidacy is a light of hope and a source of positive energy, because, at a time when the organisation’s capacity to fulfil its mission is being questioned so deeply, she brings experience, intelligence and an unwavering commitment to serving humanity with no prejudice.
And last but not least, after so many men at the helm, I can think of no better hope for the United Nations than a woman of such stature.

Pleased to meet with representatives of Koning Willem II for an open and substantive exchange on Albania’s European accession journey, our bilateral partnership with the #Netherlands, and the important role of public affairs professionals in fostering informed, inclusive and effective policymaking.
During an open and foccussed discussions, I expressed Albania’s sincere appreciation for the Kingdom of the Netherlands’ principled and longstanding support for strengthening our democratic institutions and consolidating the rule of law.
As Albania moves with determination towards #European Union membership, our focus remains firmly on delivering credible, tangible and irreversible reforms.
Becming an EU member cannot be a purely institutional or bureaucratic excercise. It requires also the active ownership, scrutiny and sustained engagement of citizens, the private sector and civil society.
We also explored opportunities to expand people to people contacts, professional exchanges, institutional knowledge-sharing and bilateral economic ties. Building lasting connections between our institutions, professionals and societies strengthens the foundations of our partnership and of our shared European future.

I had the pleasure of addressing the 14th EU-WB6 Political Directors Meeting, organised today, in #Albania. My key messages 👇
The geopolitical ground is shifting beneath us. Old certainties are being tested, alliances recalibrated, and an international order we had come to regard as relatively predictable is increasingly marked by instability, strategic competition and uncertainty. In this environment, our response must be twofold: we need democratic resilience at home, firmly anchored in the rule of law, and a merit-based #enlargement process pursued with determination as a strategic investment for both candidate countries and EU Member States.
The #security of Europe and the Western Balkans is one and indivisible. Enhanced CFSP and CSDP cooperation is about far more than ticking boxes. We share the same roof, and when the weather turns rough, we must hold the line together. Albania is not merely a beneficiary of European security; we are an active contributor to it.
As a #NATO member and EU candidate country, Albania remains unwavering in its solidarity with #Ukraine in the face of Russia’s unjustified aggression. Borders cannot be redrawn by force. We support a just and lasting peace, together with accountability for crimes committed and violations of international law.
#Regional cooperation must remain a driving force of our European integration with genuine effort to improving economic coperation, trade, connectivity and overall security as a contribution to a Europe that is stronger, safer and whole.

Ne vlerësojmë riafirmimin e qartë se #zgjerimi është një investim gjeostrategjik në paqen, sigurinë, stabilitetin dhe prosperitetin e Evropës. Ky është një mesazh i rëndësishëm në një kohë kur Bashkimi Evropian duhet të forcojë më tej unitetin, kapacitetin e tij për të vepruar dhe sovranitetin evropian.
Ne mirëpresim gjithashtu riafirmimin e parimit të #meritës, sipas të cilit çdo vend kandidat avancon në procesin e anëtarësimit mbi bazën e progresit të vet.
#Shqipëria ka qenë dhe mbetet plotësisht e angazhuar për të vijuar me vendosmëri reformat, veçanërisht në fushën e sundimit të ligjit, dhe për të përmbushur të gjitha angazhimet dhe detyrimet që burojnë nga procesi i negociatave. Progresi ynë do të matet dhe vlerësohet mbi bazën e punës, performancës dhe rezultateve tona.

Ky është një shans historik për Shqipërinë dhe shqiptarët. Kurrë nuk kemi qenë më pranë realizimit të aspiratës sonë më të madhe dhe më të qëndrueshme kombëtare, kërkesës së kahershme të rinisë dhe të gjithë shoqërisë shqiptare: Shqipëria në #Evropë.
Por anëtarësimi nuk dhurohet. Ai fitohet, vetëm me punë, reforma, rezultate, përgjegjësi dhe përgjegjshmëri.
Rruga deri këtu ka kërkuar shumë energji, përpjekje dhe sakrifica. Shqipëria ka treguar se i ka edhe energjitë, edhe aftësitë, edhe përkushtimin.
Pikërisht sepse kemi pritur kaq gjatë dhe sepse e dimë se, në histori, mundësi të tilla nuk qëndrojnë të hapura përgjithmonë, nuk mund t’ia lejojmë vetes ta humbasim këtë moment.
Dora e zgjatur e BE-së duhet shtrënguar fort, duke ecur krah për krah deri në anëtarësim.
Duke nxjerrë mësimet nga e kaluara, ne nuk mund dhe nuk duhet të lejojmë që ky kapitull transformues i historisë sonë moderne, më i rëndësishmi për të sotmen dhe të ardhmen tonë, të bëhet historia e një tjetër shansi të humbur.

Albania is proud to be among the frontrunners driving the strong progress on EU enlargement this year.
Today, we closed negotiating Chapter 20 on Enterprise and Industrial Policy. Reforms that will help Albanian businesses grow and create more jobs.
This brings Albania another step closer to its ambition of closing accession negotiations next year.

I welcome today’s decision by EU Member States to open two further negotiation clusters with Ukraine and Moldova. We look forward to opening all remaining clusters as soon as possible.
I also welcome the decision to close three additional negotiating chapters with Montenegro and one with Albania.
EU enlargement continues to advance, driven by reforms in candidate countries and the EU’s strong commitment.

A passport was a path to safety; an open heart offered compassion; an open door provided protection and saved lives.
On the occasion of the visit of Israel’s Foreign Minister, Gideon Sa’ar, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs presented to the Israeli delegation a selection of historical and archival documents bearing witness to the extraordinary role played by Albanians in protecting and saving Jews during the Holocaust.
The exhibition highlighted official correspondence, travel documents, and diplomatic records that tell a remarkable story of courage, solidarity, and humanity during one of history’s darkest chapters.
Ministers @HoxhaFer and @gidonsaar viewed archival documents recounting the efforts of Albanian officials and diplomats who assisted Jews fleeing Nazi persecution, both those living in Albania and many others who travelled there seeking refuge in a country that had become known as a sanctuary for Jews.
Behind every passport, visa, official letter, and carefully crafted disguise stood a human life and the hope of survival.
The Ministers also visited the “Tree of Remembrance”, planted on Holocaust Remembrance Day as a symbol of memory, responsibility, and friendship.
The olive tree carries messages from students of Tirana’s Sami Frashëri High School and Berlin’s Refik Veseli School.
From the courageous actions of those who, guided by BESA, the Albanian code of honnor, chose humanity over indifference and courage over fear, to the young people who keep their memory alive today, this legacy continues to resonate across borders and generations.
It remains a powerful foundation of the enduring friendship and partnership between Albania and Israel. 🇦🇱🇮🇱

The unique and inspiring story of #Albanians who, at great personal risk, opened their homes and hearts and welcomed, sheltered, protected, and saved Jews during the Holocaust, guided by the enduring values of Besa and an unwavering commitment to human dignity, stands as a cornerstone of the deep friendship and partnership that unite Albania and Israel today.
Today, we reaffirmed our shared commitment, strong political will, and growing determination to further deepen our partnership. In this spirit, we signed the Albania-Israel Agreement on General Cooperation, an important milestone that opens new avenues for collaboration and elevates our bilateral relations to a new level.
The Agreement provides a comprehensive framework for enhanced cooperation across a wide range of fields, including security, technology and innovation, trade and investment, agriculture, culture and education, reflecting the breadth of our common interests and the significant potential of our partnership. It stands not only a testament to the strength of our relationship today, but also an investment in a future of closer cooperation, greater prosperity, and stronger ties between our two nations.
We also exchanged views on the #WesternBalkans, developments in the Middle East, and key global security issues, reaffirming our shared commitment to stability, dialogue, and international cooperation.

Në këtë frymë, ne nënshkruam Marrëveshjen Shqipëri-Izrael për Bashkëpunim të Përgjithshëm, një moment i rëndësishëm që hap rrugë të reja për bashkëpunim dhe i ngre marrëdhëniet tona dypalëshe në një nivel të ri.
Marrëveshja ofron një kornizë gjithëpërfshirëse për bashkëpunim të zgjeruar në një gamë të gjerë fushash, duke përfshirë sigurinë, teknologjinë dhe inovacionin, tregtinë dhe investimet, bujqësinë, kulturën dhe arsimin, duke reflektuar gjerësinë e interesave tona të përbashkëta dhe potencialin e rëndësishëm të partneritetit tonë. Ajo nuk është vetëm një dëshmi e forcës së marrëdhënies sonë sot, por edhe një investim në një të ardhme me bashkëpunim më të ngushtë, prosperitet më të madh dhe lidhje më të forta midis dy kombeve tona.
Gjithashtu shkëmbyem pikëpamje mbi #BallkaninPerëndimor, zhvillimet në Lindjen e Mesme dhe çështjet kryesore të sigurisë globale, duke riafirmuar angazhimin tonë të përbashkët për stabilitet, dialog dhe bashkëpunim ndërkombëtar.
Riafirmova mbështetjen e palëkundur të Shqipërisë për sigurinë e Izraelit dhe vendosmërinë tonë të përbashkët për të luftuar #terrorizmin, ekstremizmin dhe #antisemitizmin kudo që ato lindin. Në të njëjtën kohë, nënvizova angazhimin e fortë të Shqipërisë për paqen, dialogun dhe bashkëpunimin ndërkombëtar si shtylla të domosdoshme të sigurisë rajonale dhe globale.
Shqipëria ka qenë dhe do të mbetet një mbështetëse e fortë e të gjitha përpjekjeve të drejtuara drejt një paqeje gjithëpërfshirëse, të drejtë dhe të qëndrueshme në Lindjen e Mesme. Është në këtë frymë që Shqipëria iu bashkua Bordit të Paqes dhe ka vendosur të kontribuojë në mënyrë konkrete në përpjekjet ndërkombëtare, përfshirë me pjesëmarrjen në Forcën Ndërkombëtare të Stabilizimit në Gaza.
Gjallëria e marrëdhënieve mes Shqipërisë dhe Izraelit dëshmohet ndoshta më së miri nga më shumë se 100,000 vizitorët izraelitë që zgjodhën Shqipërinë vitin e kaluar. Përtej faktit se bëhet fjalë për një statistikë mbresëlënëse, kjo është një shprehje e fuqishme e besimit, miqësisë dhe partneritetit gjithnjë e më të thellë që bashkojnë dy kombet tona.

A Serbian minister, while campaigning, promised his audience that "he would once again raise their flag" in Kosovo.
Such inflammatory language might be brushed aside as political posturing were it not for the very real danger of emboldening those prepared to act on it. We have seen this before, too many times. #Banjska, where full accountability remains outstanding, stands as a stark reminder of what can happen when words become actions.
#Albania remains firmly convinced that the only path forward, however difficult, lies in good neighbourly relations, regional cooperation, and genuine efforts to heal the wounds of the past and advance towards reconciliation.
But there can be no sustainable regional cooperation while realities are denied, the legitimacy of neighbours is questioned, or threatening rhetoric is used for political gain.
Building peace and trust takes time, often years, if not decades. It requires vision, courage, determination, and sustained commitment.
#Europe itself was built on recognition, dialogue, mutual respect, and solidarity, not on denial, intimidation, or nostalgia for the past.
In the #WesternBalkans, we know all too well where division, nationalism, and inflammatory rhetoric can lead. We cannot afford to forget those lessons, let alone repeat them.
The Republic of #Kosova is an irreversible reality. It is a sovereign, democratic state, an equal part of our region, and a country steadily consolidating its place in the European and international community. It is home to all its citizens, regardless of ethnicity, and its future must be one of peace, security, inclusion, and European integration.
Albania has stood by #Kosova and will continue to support it in every possible way.
We see this not only as a commitment rooted in our close bonds, but also as a strategic investment in our shared #European future and in the peace, security, and prosperity of the entire region.

Albania condemns in the strongest terms the latest deadly Houthi attack against the Kingdom of #Saudi Arabia.
The repeated attacks by the #Houthis, an #Iran proxy, pose a direct threat to regional stability, endanger civilian lives, and undermine efforts to promote peace and security in the region.
There can be no justification for attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure. Those responsible must be held accountable.
