If Nigerian divorce laws were anything close to those of America or the United Kingdom, Nigerian marriages would be full of disasters. In America after divorce, the woman is more likely to take over the man’s house, so the man must leave for the woman and children, pay child support, and do all the law requires. The same applies in the United Kingdom, and I think the UK’s laws are stricter. So for your information, when divorce happens in Nigeria and the woman chooses to take the children, the man is not mandated to provide things like shelter for them,
