Love the Coincidence that a @FHSPats_Sports Prospect would announce his Commitment on Independence Day! Congratulations Zach Carson of Freedom on Your Commitment to @JWUAthleticsCLT During the Varsity Season, we worked with the WNC High School Coaches to build and distribute an Uncommitted 2025 List to help the Seniors with a final College Recruiting push. Coach Hackett put Zach's name on that list quickly and spoke well of his talent and character. I offered to help many, but Zach was one of only a handful of seniors to truly reciprocate. It also helped that we decided to add a game to our WNC Scout & Streaming Series in April; we climbed the mountain to watch Freedom at Mitchell. We were able to broadcast Zach's performance that night and use it as a reference for his recruiting: 3 for 3 w/ a HR, 2B, 4 RBI, 3 R, 2 SB, and 2 HBP in that game, earning @CamWoodBats Player of the Game. Zach quietly had a strong year for the Patriots whom many forgot lost their Baseball Field in Hurricane Helene and were without a home for the entire 2025 season. Hopefully Zach's Commitment is seen as a positive conclusion to the 2025 season and a spark for a talented returning roster in 2026, especially on the Pitching front Zach learned about the College Recruiting Process quickly, found himself 3 opportunities, did his due diligence, and made a great decision (athletically, academically, and financially) to join Coach @jamorri___10 's Wildcats Program for their inaugural season in 2026! @ChadMic99300309 @ZWCsports @Chris_Womack @JRWalk22
