Pitchers-want to throw 90? Be able to long toss 300 ft!
Want to throw 97? 360 ft is the goal.
"Bingo 馃憤. In 30 years of doing it, you can pretty much take it to the bank - 300 feet = 90mph (of course body types, age, dna matter too, but man, that鈥檚 been really consistent)" Alan Jaeger

You don't make the baseball team in the SPRING.
You make it RIGHT NOW.
NOVEMBER. DECEMBER. JANUARY. FEBRUARY.
When it's cold outside.
When nobody's watching.
When there's no lineup card, no scoreboard, no crowd, and no recognition.
Somebody is getting STRONGER.
Somebody is getting FASTER.
Somebody is fixing that swing.
Somebody is learning to COMMAND the baseball.
And somebody is doing absolutely NOTHING, assuming they'll have the same starting spot they had last year.
Here's the reality...
LAST YEAR'S PERFORMANCE DOESN'T GUARANTEE THIS YEAR'S OPPORTUNITY.
The player who was behind you in June might be ahead of you in March.
Four months is a LONG TIME for a hungry ballplayer to close the gap.
Don't wait until tryouts to prove you deserve to play.
MAKE THE TEAM BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS. 鈿撅笍
