I am so sorry for the radio silence over the last few months! I've been swamped with work and spent the last few weeks fighting off sickness, but I'm finally feeling like myself again. I am officially back and can't wait to catch up with you all. Thanks for bearing with me!
🚨Stevie G on Manchester City’s 114 Guilty Charges
🗣️"Look, it’s absolutely seismic news for the entire footballing world. When you wake up and see they’ve actually been found guilty on 114 of those 115 charges, it completely shifts your perspective on the last decade of English football.
You go out there as a player, you pour your absolute heart and soul into a 38-game season, and you push your body to the limit believing it’s a level playing field. To realize it wasn't leaves a really bitter taste. But if this means the record books are getting set straight, and that 2013–14 title is finally coming to Anfield, then it’s a monumental day. That was a title our dressing room—and those fans—thoroughly deserved. We played unbelievable, expansive football that year, we built it the right way, and to finally be recognized as Premier League champions would mean the absolute world. It doesn’t give us back the open-top bus parade, but justice being done today is just massive for the integrity of the game."
There should be relegated with this just being one of one instance where they have got away from the title and this was a very decisive game as well and in the dying minutes in the pl btw.
Now give us our two pl titles back and relegated them from the pl those guys deserved it from long man

🚨Kylian Mbappe on Near move to Liverpool in 2017:
“Yes, I was close to Liverpool. My mum was a big fan of Jurgen Klopp and the favourite destination for my mum was Liverpool. She went to Anfield and fell in love with it.”

🚨Player Profile: Jérémy Jacquet 🇫🇷
Jérémy Jacquet is a 21-year-old right-footed centre-back who has quickly established himself as a cornerstone of Liverpool's defense since arriving from Rennes in July 2026. The French U21 international boasts a towering 1.88m (6'2") frame and possesses an elite blend of physical dominance and technical ball-playing ability.
Key Statistics (via FotMob):
Elite Match Ratings: Jacquet currently holds a highly impressive 7.68 average FotMob rating in the 2026/27 Premier League campaign, ranking him among the top-performing defenders in the division.
Ball Distribution: He is extremely reliable in possession, boasting a 90.8% pass accuracy and completing 62 line-breaking passes, which is crucial for launching rapid transitions from the back.
Defensive Dominance: He has won 76.5% of his aerial duels and recorded 28 total defensive contributions, proving highly effective at shutting down opposition attackers.
---
His Impact at Liverpool
Jacquet's transition to the Premier League has been remarkably seamless. Thrown straight into Andoni Iraola's high-intensity system, he has become a permanent fixture alongside Virgil van Dijk and Ronald Araújo.
He put in exceptional 8.1-rated defensive masterclasses against both Fulham and Nottingham Forest, neutralizing opposing forwards and looking completely unfazed by the physicality of English football. More recently, he played the full 90 minutes in Liverpool's tight 1-0 away win against AFC Bournemouth and their 2-1 Champions League victory over Atlético Madrid, showcasing his reliability in high-pressure environments.
At just 21, Jacquet isn't just a prospect for the future; his commanding performances and clean sheets against teams like Ipswich Town and Fulham demonstrate that he is already operating as a top-tier anchor for Liverpool right now.

Kerkez is a lost mind like legit, bro just bulldoze all the time and keep bombing forward and what happened to him defensively today man

I dont want to say much but Wirtz has to do something because i m really getting fed up with wirtz now. I dont want to target him but he has to do better ffs.

Why is there no nyoni man ?????
Team news is IN! ⚪️ #BOULIV
Hey everyone. Typical luck—a few days after I promised I was back, I got pretty sick and had to step away to recover. 😷
I'm finally on the mend and will be returning to normal posting this week. Can't wait to catch up with you all!
With that kind of performance, People would have questioned Wirtz saying that "is that all he can do" without the G/A to back it up.
We all have to agree that Wirtz is not the G/A like he was in the bundesliga, he will have the style of play like Pedri or Vitinha. That is the reality tbh.
#LFC
The problem with Wirtz is that you’ve got a 19 year old #10 with 1,777 PL minutes dropping performances like this week-in, week-out.
Josh King is already physically, mentally & technically capable of influencing Premier League matches, Florian Wirtz isn’t. teapaw.org/CompsirG/status/209895…
We need this guy to fully unlock Wirtz because Wirtz can be able to cause more chaos and be free from the defensive duties with Adam Wharton Dictating the tempo.
After watching yesterday Match, i m convinced we need a possession based player alongside Macca because that double pivot of Dominik and Gravenberch did no shit yesterday.
We need a creator who has the similar passing range like Macca and who is younger and pl proven.
We need Adam Wharton, he is too good to be playing for a mid club like Crystal Palace. He is ready for the big clubs like Liverpool and not Man united, He will be ruined at United.

🚨Liverpool Performance against Fulham:
🔴 The Anfield Reality Check: Absolutely agonizing to watch. We had all the ball but zero cutting edge. It literally felt like watching us smash our heads against a brick wall for 90 minutes. A massive reality check for Iraola's system when teams refuse to play an open game.
🧱 Arbeloa's Low Block Masterclass: You have to hand it to former Red Alvaro Arbeloa. Fulham came to Anfield purely to survive, setting up in a completely suffocating 4-2-3-1 low block. They completely congested the middle and entirely nullified our vertical threat.
⚙️ The Double Pivot Problem: This was the glaring issue on the pitch today. Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai are brilliant players, but neither is a true defensive anchor or a deep-lying metronome. Against a deep block, you need a #6 to move the ball with lethal, one-touch speed. Our transitions were far too slow and laboured, allowing Fulham to easily shuffle across and close the passing lanes.
👻 Ghosting Wirtz: Because the pivot couldn't progress the ball quickly enough, Florian Wirtz was left completely isolated. Our creative spark was forced to drop way too deep just to get a touch. Whenever he did get the ball in the final third, three Fulham players swarmed him instantly. He was completely marked out of the match.
🇫🇷 Barcola's Frustrating Full Debut: It was great seeing the £106m man get his first start on the left wing, and he showed flashes of his 1v1 pace. But with zero space to run into behind the defensive line, he couldn't isolate his fullback properly.
🔄 Iraola's Roll of the Dice: The manager threw everything at it in the second half. Taking off Muñoz for Cody Gakpo, swapping Gravenberch for Mac Allister, and even giving Rio Ngumoha a late cameo for Barcola on the 71st minute. The energy changed, but the final ball just wasn't there today.
