Angus McIntyre is giving up his career to take on the role of Shadow Armed Forces Minister, a job that doesn't exist. A sure sign of excellent judgement.

To my lovely trolls who say I’m not Scottish because of my skin tone. I was born & raised in Scotland, & I still live in the very same Scottish town I was born in. Scotland is all I’ve ever known, and it’s what I will always defend and stand up for, no matter the situation or

It takes real guts for an unelected member of the public to threaten to resign from a job he'll never have.

Gent in purple, "State pensioners who have contributed their whole lives are on a lot less than minimum wage" "I'm very lucky to have a small German pension, and believe me, it's a lot more than what we pay in this country" "Most of western Europe their pensions are much higher than the state pension in this country" "I'm lucky I get a pension from the military" "But people on the basic state pension, I reall feel sorry for them" My view: The full new State Pension is roughly £12,548 a year. Someone working 37.5 hours a week on the £12.71 minimum wage earns about £24,785 before tax. That puts the full new State Pension at barely half a full-time minimum-wage salary. Government figures show that 12% of pensioner families received their income entirely from the State Pension and other state benefits in 2024/25. That same year, around 1.7 million pensioners — one in seven — were living in relative poverty after housing costs. A better pension means being able to heat your home, eat properly and see friends without calculating what you’ll have to go without afterwards. It also means money spent in the communities where pensioners live. After a lifetime of working, caring and contributing, financial security should be something people can expect.

Don't think I've seen many support acts smash it the way @brookecombe did last night in Manc. Big crowd in early to see her, stripped down set centring her voice, great reception. She'll be huge if there's any sanity in this world.

When he tumbles down the stairs, I honestly can’t stop laughing. I showed this to a 15-year-old who had never heard of Peter Sellers or The Pink Panther, and when she saw this scene, she nearly peed herself laughing so hard!

Nosotros no vamos a atacar a nadie. Siempre necesitan algún tipo de enemigo. Nosotros no necesitamos un enemigo."

‼️ Andy Burnham's decision to replace standing charges with higher gas unit prices will push up energy bill costs in Scotland. 👀 Labour tried to pull the wool over the eyes of Scots, but no amount of trickery can hide the sky-high bills that people will be paying this winter!

Aiden McGeady has taken aim at Derek McInnes over his claims about the "injustice" of losing out on the title to Celtic while still in charge of Hearts. Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show, he said: "The injustice has been mentioned a few times. What was the injustice? Was it a few contentious decisions, as he said? "But at the end of the day, it was in your hands and you blew it. It was in your hands and you blew it. All you had to do was draw the last game of the season. Couldn't do it. "So I can understand why you're going to put it down to, 'It's not my fault, it's not the team's fault, it's referees.' "But, yeah, for me, that's you glossing over that."
