Following on from Brooke we had some serious business from Jalen Ngonda. Really tight band, amazing vocally, just a great bill and a lovely way to spend your evening. Gotta love live music.

Don't think I've seen many support acts smash it the way @brookecombe did last night in Manc. Big crowd in early to see her, stripped down set centring her voice, great reception. She'll be huge if there's any sanity in this world.

Loads of fun tonight at @thecoralband homecoming gig to end the tour in Liverpool. They are a genuinely unique proposition in UK music. So much time for them.

Great conversation last night about a satisfying victory, some mixed performances and the emergence of Trey Nyoni as a genuine contender for a first team place: theliverpoolway.podbean.com/

Latest piece from me on a stand-out performance from young Trey Nyoni that announced his arrival as first team player: halfspacehacks.substack.com/…

Some really good stuff last night. Great chat about an enjoyable result...then someone has to go and spoil it by suggesting playing Darwin Nunez as a full-back.

Not sure James Blake has got enough kit here. Leaving himself a bit short on synths and keys.

I've though for a while that if at any point over the last few years you'd have swapped out Bruno Fernandes for James Milner and Jordan Henderson they would be in much better shape as a club now. So much of the decline seems to be about culture in the dressing room.

The best performance of the day in the division was from a loan signing that another big team didn't want. Who played with heart. Utd is just packed top to bottom with stupid and lazy. It's not about money.

What a performance that was today by Araujo. It's always nice when you look for the positives in a signing and it comes to fruition. Serious showing by #LFC today against a good side. halfspacehacks.substack.com/…

Enjoyed being back in the mix with the lads last night. Not really sure how I can push the pod and keep Dave's big surprise intro a secret unfortunately. Good chat on the game and a bit about Wirtz following yesterday's piece.

For anyone that hasn't seen the MNF clip referenced in my latest piece then it's here. Really good stuff from @Carra23. Now they just need to start getting into expected threat models to really show who is bringing the attacking heat.

Plenty of debate this week about Florian Wirtz and his creative output for #LFC. Thought I'd give my take on what has been a good week for the player, and the club: halfspacehacks.substack.com/…
