The Orionid Meteor Shower is expected to be at it's peak tonight with 10 to 20 meteors per hour. It should be a good night to view it with mostly clear skies and overnight temperatures in the low to mid-50s.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop during the day Thursday and continue into the evening. Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds are possible, mainly between 2-8 pm, over parts over east central MO and SW IL. #stlwx

It accounts for about half of the deaths associated with tropical cyclones in the U.S. To help you determine the best way to prepare, NOAA coastal flooding forecasts are expressed as feet of water above ground level.
